This is the first authenic Peruvian restaurant in the Coachella Valley. Be aware its located inside an abscure strip center in... Rancho Mirage, the sign says MJ Gourmet. If there aren't many cars in front, don't worry. You are in for a huge treat. If youare familiar with this cuisine you will be very happy, if you aren't....you'll be ecstatic. The flavors are really special,there is something for everyone. Please get outside your comfort zone when ordering, you will be rewarded. Each dish ispresented beautifully, the food is very fresh. The owner and staff are very caring. The service is bit slow, but any waitingis worth it. Better make reservations, the space is small and intimate, simply and tastefully decorated. Amazing food, wonderful hostess (who I believe is the owner) and our server was lovely too. We had the Lomo Saltado and the... salmon dish and every dish was truly superb, along with the sauces.
