Wow best Asian restaurant in Palm Springs??? I think so! 10/10 on food quality. Ingredients and even the drinks were top... notch. I got a variety of wine and then got sake. It was warmed in a bowl of hot water to bring it to temperature and notdilute the flavor. Meat quality was exceptional and the hamachi was super fresh. What an amazing experience! They accommodated our party of 6 quickly and took the time to explain how the hot pot process worked... since it was our first time. Our visit to Shabu Shabu Zen and Sake Bar was great. The staff were all very friendly, and provided excellent service. We... opted for the Premium Ribeye of ?Washu? American Wagyu, and it was incredibly tender and delicious. We thought it was very neatto grind our own sesame seeds to create a sesame sauce to dip our meats in. As we ate that up, we ended up ordering a secondorder of USDA Prime Ribeye, which was just as tasty although not as marbled as the Washu. Definitely worth the experience. Read more

The food is a 5/5. The service was so slow and disregarding. We waited over an hour to get our food. There were several other... customers who left because of the service. It may have been an off night for them, but for us, it was our honeymoon and we weredisappointed in the service. Especially for the price. Again, the food is great. Popped in here with the wife and kids before a movie down the street. I will start by saying the service was fantastic. All of... the girls working here were on point and paid attention to us the entire time we were there. The food was good and it was a coolexperience as we had never been to a place like this before. I have read about these spots, and all said and done, for the priceand the portion sizes, it really just isn't for me. Don't let me discourage you though. It is definitely something to try atleast once. We also met the owner who was an absolute sweetheart. I would probably come back here but definitely not with kids. Read more
