Great place to eat. Sure, it is pricey, but you get a very high quality food. Loved the place?s view. The waiter was polite and... patient. No draft beer, cons. Reservations accepted. Cheese menu was not provided at beginning, I saw the full menu before so Iasked for that. Cheeses are from California, Spain, France, and U.K. The breads are made in-house, so you get them warm if nothot. Will go back here again. Read more
Easily one of the top 3 restaurants I?ve eaten at in the continental U.S. Every dish was absolutely fantastic, broad drink menu,... and the service was top-notch. We were with a well-behaved newborn and felt welcomed and appreciated. Definitely coming backwhenever in the area. Read more
I spent my Birthday at this really great place. Expensive. But Great! 2 alcohol drinks. One appetizer and 2 Entrees. $238.00... plus a $35.00 tip. Tips for rides around the resort to the band area. First time in 10 years we had a rocky start at Terranea resort. But eventually ended up at Mar'sel for brunch, the host was very... helpful and the service was wonderful. The food was delicious but I should of taken our waiters recommendation for the avocadotoast instead of the shrimp cocktail. That's why there's no picture of the shrimp cocktail, lol... 4 shrimps on a bed of ice. Myhusband had the salad and we both had the beef brisket, that was yummy! We both picked out a different dessert, I had the potthe creme. I thought it should of been smaller because it was way to sweet. Read more
Speakeasy-mood bar with a wonderfully talented bartender, amazingly attentive staff and some extremely delicious oysters!! We... did not move on to have dinner inside the actual restaurant because we had all we really needed right at the bar - includingenjoying dinner and conversation! Excellent fine dine. Located inside the resorts, one of the perfect place to relax and indulge yourself with your favorite food... and wine. The views of the ocean and cliffs are breathtaking and the food was amazing. My husband and I went for dinner and meal began... with complimentary puff starter and cheesy bread. Bread was nice and warm and the puff starter was delicate. As our appetizer weordered the three cheese plate. Cheeses were creamy and went well with the fruit, nuts and bread spread. For our main course, Iordered the Halibut, which was served with a nice white buttery sauce, capers, and some mushrooms. My husband ordered the 28 DayAged Cote de Boeuf, meant to serve two people. The beef was juicy, cooked perfectly. The sides were good too: potatoes andlobster cream spinach. To finish the meal, we had complimentary truffle chocolates.
