17.99 for a sandwich and fries. That's robbery. Especially for the amount of meat they give you. Phillys Best is not worth your... cash. Read more

Not much meat almost zero cheese and mind you, it was suppose to be a philly cheesesteak sandwich with cheese, meat and extra... grilled onions. Very few onions, completely dry mostly bread. Usually the cheese makes it not so dry, but when they don't usemuch cheese at all, you're left with a dry gross bread roll. Very disappointed the past previous 2 visits, but this was theworst! I always tip well too!! Read more

My standard is Franks Philadelphia in Costa Mesa. Compared to that this place doesn't hold a candle. Went at 8pm on a... Thursday: - Dry meat - Skimpy on the provolone - Bread is not toasted - $1 for a cup of ranch or BBQ - Onion rings weredecent. I wouldn't bother, it won't really satisfy your craving . Read more

Sandwich was good but not very happy with the onions rings and the price. $4.99 and I got a small bag of about 6 onion rings.... Total joke. Read more

One of my favorite places to eat. I?ve been careful during the crisis with not doing much takeout. I decided to order online... for a good mushroom steak with grilled onions. Well, I get home and it has raw onions. Big disappointment, I guess they don?tcare to get orders correct. Read more

6 pm on Saturday night. There was one other customer, and all the tables were dirty. The workers were nice, but with three of... them and no customers, you would think they have time to at least clean the tables. Great fries, but the cheese steaks weredisappointing. The bread was stale and chewy, like it came out of a microwave. Being from Philly, I remember the east coast forhaving great bread and very fresh ingredients. Invoice 10060 9/21/19 5:40 pm. I purchased 2 BBQ Cheesesteaks plain (meat, cheese, BBQ, on Bread) from the Rancho Santa Margarita location of Philly's Best.... They cooked the steaks on the back of the grill while chicken steaks were cooked in the front. When chicken steaks were toppedand done, they moved my steaks from the back of the grill into the same space as the chicken steaks. They partially cleaned thegrill by scooping up the previous ingredients and placing it on the previous order. Not all ingredients were transferred. Thismixed left over toppings into my steaks. When my steaks were finished, they scooped up leftover toppings and placed the itemsinto my sandwich. Toppings from the previous order were on the wrap used for the first sandwich. Those toppings smashed into thebread of my sandwich. Then they used the same knife from the previous order to cut my steaks. It had toppings on the sides andwas not wiped. The result, my 2 plain BBQ cheesesteaks had chicken, onions, peppers, and other ingredients mixed in. As I was ina hurry, I left disappointed with the experience and to not waste $19.00, I ate some of the meat and tossed the rest. Isubmitted my concerns through the Philly's Best feedback form and received a response which contained the following: "As anindependently owned and operated location, we have forwarded your comments to our franchise partner at this location so that theissue you communicated can be addressed." It's been 2 weeks and the owners of the Rancho Santa Margarita location have notwritten back. Read more

First time, I ordered the Philly's Best with cheese fries. Hubby got the Pepperoni Cheesesteak and he enjoyed it as well. Very... flavorful and decent portion for the price. One of the better cheese steaks I've had outside of Philly. Read more
