Compadres is probably the best Mexican restaurant in Randleman! Started coming back here just recently after probably 10ish... years, and have been really pleased with everything. For starters, they have totally expanded from what I remember. The insidedecor of the restaurant and it's lay out is really inviting, and they have a really nice covered porch outside as well. Thefood is what all Mexican food should be. It's hot, the portions are perfect, and it doesn't look like it was thrown together.The menu selection is solid, and the prices are alright compared to places you'd find in Asheboro. One thing I think that's coolabout Compadres, is that you can order the lunch plates anytime of day! Which is pretty nice as much as restaurant prices havegone up. As for the waiters and staff, they are probably some of the nicest I've had at a restaurant. The majority look likeRHS students, but they are actually really on top of it. You'll never wonder if anyone is ever coming back to the table, andthat's all you can ask for. All and all, I always enjoy eating at Compadres! I definitely think that they rival anything you'dfind in Asheboro or Highpoint, and it's great having good restaurants in Randleman. Read more
Food was good, service sucked. Took my husband glass to refill it and I had to ask 4 times to get him another glass of tea.... Asked for extra cheese sauce and never got it. Never had bad service there before. Read more
The servers are great and tried to be helpful with food allergies. However almost all of their food has some form of gluten in... it making it impossible to eat here for me. So don't expect to eat something here if you have a food allergy such as gluten. Ithink they have some dairy free options, but not gluten free. Read more
I have taken my Dearest one here several times as it is close to home. We were quickly seated, our orders were quickly taken &... arrived quickly, were of generous portions, hot & delicious. Neither of us could finish all of the food on our plates & had theleftovers taken home for another meal the next day. Staff is friendly, courteous & quick. The meals ordered here areconsistently very good. I highly recommend this restaurant & will continue to eat here. Read more
We've never eaten here. But the 3.9 review average is keeping us away for now. We are new to the area and really like Mexican... food. We tried out one of the other Mexican restaurants in the area and were not impressed. I left a 4 star review on yourreviews, so not to move your average. I hope you read your reviews and can address the issues. I don't see any responses tothe reviews that were left. Hopefully you can get this taken care of soon! Food is good. Some of the best margaritas around. Service had fallen off but I think they have gotten things back on track.... Whole new drink menu with some great choices. My husband and I ordered the Texanas Fajitas for 2. Great deal for a lot of food.We even had some left over to take home for another meal. Read more
