First time ordering here and so glad we did. The food was much better than other Chinese restaurants we?ve gone to. Worst service? personally I think their attitude stinks? and their dishes are if truly, as the lady on the phone explained, very... unusual, they delivered yellow plain rice as ?fried rice? no vegetables no meat nothing? really? The delivery guy delivered anorder with two dishes and a soda for 32$, I paid with 2 $20s ($40), and the guy made no attempt to give any change, sticking thecash in his pocket? so I asked please give me the change, I?ll tip you once I check my order? so no soda, no fried rice? the guysaid he will come back with the soda, but 30min later no soda? not nice! Zzz, he made it with two sodas (one of them not neededsince one of us don?t drink soda), but I sent rice back? the food we ended up eating was pretty good so here go 3*? the lady onthe phone was very impolite? just uninterested! Reliable Chinese take out. We tend to order the same things since quality can vary by dish. Overall, I like that their food is... not as greasy or salty as other Chinese take out restaurants in the area. The best is the "Shanghai green vegetables withShrimp," which is baby bok choy and prawns sauteed with garlic. Can be soupy from the veggies cooking down, but a healthy tastydish uncommon for Chinese take out. Chicken with Broccoli always comes with nice crunchy green veggies that aren't mushy or toosalty. Shrimp lo mein is also good. Wonton Soup is one of our favorites. Big wrappers but they're tasty. Read more
We've been going to this restaurant for a while and just had a pretty negative experience there. My husband picked up and... brought the food home, and when we got it all out, realized that of the three chicken dishes we received, two were undercookedto the point of the meat being pink. I called the restaurant to let them know, and was told they would not issue a refund unlessI drove back to the restaurant with the chicken to prove that it was pink. By this point it was almost 7pm, and I have two smallchildren who need to go to bed- neither of us were willing to drive back just to show them the pink chicken. I was told the"chicken was fresh" and they "make it every day," neither of which have anything to do with whether it was undercooked. We endedup throwing almost 30$ worth of food away and then had to end up making the kids dinner anyway. We will not be returning. Read more
Ordered online for pickup. When I arrived, food was ready to go and the folks behind the counter were quick to greet me and get... me on my way. We had some pleasant conversation and they gave me a free tote bag as a new customer. The food was good (though Imay ask for some more spice on the "hot" dishes next time) and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back. Read more
Hunan-wok on Sussex Tpke Randolph is always busy place. Their takeout are very fresh and price is very reasonable. Our family... order from here at least 3 times a week.
