Prices on open table and website were signifantly different than at the restaurant.. my wife had steak and paid $42 compared to... website menu $35 I paid $42 for veal osso buco compared to website$29. Outrages why are menus not updated? We would not havegone to restaurant at these p;rices. My wife said it was best steak she ever had but my ossobuco was worst I ever had . Meat nottender and gravy was overwelming. Would not order again. Ordered cappuccino and limoncello cake. Coffee was cold cakes were notserved until 15 minutes later after we finished coffee. Aparently watresss forgot to press button to order. Than received billthat had $8.95 charge for glass of wine that we never ordered or serrved. As we both had cocktails we don't have wine. Weenjoyed La Strada many times before pandemic but probably wont go back after this bad experience. Read more
Afternoon family graduation early dinner at our go to restaraunt was not good at all. Baked Clams were turning. Red sauce on... side pastas and chicken parm was burnt/reheated a number of times. My husband's favorite veal osso bucco was burnt, barelypresentable. Sad. So ownership changed with the kitchen not following previously fabulous recipes; should just modify the menuand not try to be Italian. End of an era. Farewell. Read more
The food was good and the wait staff were very friendly. My family and I came at the opening of dinner time. We always order... different items so we can pick off each other's plate to sample different items. All came out good. But I can only give anItalian restaurant of this caliber 4 star's when I'm served cold bread and butter. There's absolutely no reason why Olive Gardenis beneath this restaurant in Italian food and there bread is better. Good warm bread is an absolute must depending on where Ieat. Read more
This restaurant is delicious. Plan on taking your time if you dine here-- it's not fast food. Dinner menus take a little long to... get to you because, you know, they want you to order some drinks first. Drinks by the way are always perfect and flavorful, notweak either. The bartender is on the scale of a mixologist. I usually get the rigatoni bolognese and you cannot go wrong withit. A lot of their appetizers are good but I wouldn't recommend what I believe are the clams casino. It was a smaller portionbut more importantly, the flavor was off. Reservations aren't generally needed but just in case, I'd recommend it. It's afairly large dining area with attentive waitstaff who care about your dining experience, shown through their exceptionalservice-- uncommon nowadays. Read more
A lovely old school Italian restaurant. From the Sinatra and standards playing to the table served pepper grinders and parmesan... in a lovely silver boat. Amazingly beautifully presented food. A perfect special occasion restaurant. Read more
Had a delicious dinner and an excellent time here! Our waiter was friendly and joked around with us, and all of our food was... delicious. The dinner was at a very relaxed pace, so don’t go expecting you’ll be in and out quickly (but it’s a goodthing to just breathe for a change). Make sure to save room for dessert! Read more

I'm so sorry bit this place went down hill since new owners. Rice balls with rotten cheese really, how old were they!? It then... took 1.5 hours to get my entrees and just very bland food not good Italian food at all. I'm so sad I really wanted it to begood. The salads dressing was gross anf only 2 dressings to pick from also cold bread. The new owner is cutting corners and letme tell u this restaurant won't last in Morris County. We also missed the vallet parking making the experience more luxury.Barley any spaghetti with my chicken parm dinner and my chicken was grimey. Seemed like cheap chicken and it wasn't deveined orsomething. After our rice balls being bad I'm also upset they didn't offer a new appetizer, just poor management! (Not theservers fault) Read more
