Great vibes, this will become a destination in it own right sooner than later. Fantastic views of the bridge and river, amazing... severs and very good selection of wine. We unfortunately missed the menu hours for food but I'll be back and what they offeredlooked great. Dear Mary’s Vine I just wanted to let you know how much my wife and I enjoyed our visit. I brought my wife here for her... birthday and it was an absolutely memorable experience. From the very start the service was remarkable and the food wasexcellent. I had the carrot Osso Buco and my wife had the Atlantic char. Both were prepared to perfection and were absolutelydelicious. I really love the attention to detail that you put into the building. I especially love the comfortable chairs. Thisis a great touch that you don’t find in many restaurants. We had the apple tart for dessert and can’t wait to try the otherdesserts on the menu. I am definitely telling my friends and family to stop in for a memorable meal. Mary's Vine is a spectacular gem of a restaurant and wine bar. Located in a revived church, the decor is beautiful and... understated, the seats are ridiculously comfortable. Comfortable. The wine selection is, in my opinion, unmatched in Pittsburgh,and the food is tremendous. We ordered two flights of wine, they were spectacular. We also ordered two boards, and paired themup with our wines. I wish that we had been hungrier, so we could have tried more. Instead, we settled for finishing with adelightful dessert, which was just the right amount of sweet without being overpowering. This is definitely on our list torevisit soon! Read more
Great place for a fancy date! The food is delicious, and selection of wine is great. The owner and personal are very polite and... committed to make customers happy. The owner gave our group a tour to downstairs rooms, and the cellar, it was impressive! PS.The menu is not cheap, please prepare. This is such a hidden gem! My friends and I had brunch here today and sat outside. The seating was very comfortable! The menus... are actually iPads which was a first. We ordered a pastry and waffle board to split. Both were delicious. Check this place out. Read more
Brunch with the girls Saturday afternoon was a pleasure at Mary's Vine! The gentleman at the valet greeted me with a smile and... knew the reservation party I was attending by first name and wished me a pleasant experience. Walking into this beautifulrestaurant and taking a seat in the most COMFORTABLE chair I've ever sat at it was a lot to take in. The chicken and waffles wasincredible and had the opportunity to extend my satisfaction to the head chef when he stopped by our table to ensure our foodwas okay. Wonderful place! Food was great, wine flights were good and fun, level of service was awesome and so friendly, even if you don't... smoke cigars you need to checkout the cigar bar downstairs...and the secrete way to open the door...it's like a speak-easy.
