Our group of 5 went to lunch here after church yesterday. We had a long wait which is understandable with businesses being short... staffed. With better planning they could have put us in the huge section that was closed and made some of the smaller groupsafter us wait if the servers couldn't handle more customers. The spinach and artichoke dip was kind of runny but tasted okay.The chips however, we're awful. They looked and tasted like old stale hard ones were mixed in with newer ones and thrown in thedeep fryer to try to revive them. I ended up eating it with a spoon instead. My friend and I both ordered French onion soup. Ilove French onion soup and I know it should be made with "firm bread like sourdough or french". The bread was extremely soggyand slimy. The soup itself was watered down and the cheese on top (which I ate because I was hungry) was melted but certaintynot placed under a broiler or torch to brown it. They also brought our soup out on other people's plates as a side which waseasily fixable but it meant they had to go back and get the correct sides. My boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger that came outwith no cheese so the server brought a cold slice of cheese on a plate for him. I very politely brought it to the server'sattention that while I didn't blame her I was not happy with the food. We saw her go back and talk to the manager. The managerthen proceeded to hide the rest of the time we were there. She did not make any attempt to make things right or apologize. Been a long time since I have been to one of these and I am really glad I stopped in. I had to kill roughly 2 hours waiting for... a ride while completing some work. Walking in with luggage and what I assumed to be a strange request, no one skipped a beat.They placed me in the back (my request) and keep the drinks full and checked in frequently. Food was as expected and I didn?tleave hungry. I really wish I kept my receipt for my servers name as he was absolute rockstar, and clearly stood out fromtodays service staff. That said, I want to acknowledge that the hostess was very friendly and the support staff were all onpoint. If my waiter entered a drink and another server was nearby, they worked in tandem to switch things out. Solid crew! Read more
So, I ordered a 2 for 24$ deal, one was a burger the other steak. I also got a kids pizza for my son. My husband picked up the... food and came back 15 minutes. All the food was cold, my steak was burnt, overcooked and cold, the taste was dry and burntflavor, husband tried it and made a face at it like it insulted him. My broccoli was all in one huge bunch. My sons pizza wascold and he only ate one piece. He loves pizza and normally can finish 2 huge slices from Little Cesar's Called to have theprice of the steak removed from my 39$ order, got a full refund. Will consider ordering again. We had a not so great experience. Server was nice and all but our food was not. The Mac n cheese was actually cold so I asked... them to heat it... but I feel like most places would of offered a discount or make it fresh? My husband ordered the pretzelsticks and they were out of beer cheese so they offered queso which looked and tasted like vegetable soup. It was not enjoyablebut the server was very nice otherwise. Went in close to closing, our waitress was superb. We ordered 2 appetizer combos, and 4 meals. The only thing good about our... visit was the awesome waitress. Food was all cold, I ordered a steak that was burn and hard. Bread sticks for two dinners werehard. For $120 bucks we were fed cold hard food. One a 1-10 scale, this was a hard -2 won't be going back there that's for sure! Read more

We were treated to a free Veteran's Day dinner with generous portions. The pasta chicken tasted grilled and smokey as if... straight off the BBQ. The Parmesan chicken was moist and flavorful. Our server was friendly, humorous and attentive despite themadhouse conditions inspired by free food. Rapid City Applebee's just became our favorite restaurant. Read more
