Found hair sticking out of my breakfast burrito after taking a bite. Went to manager and showed her. Quote from her ?that?s... disgusting ?. She got me a new burrito and a churro. How did I not get a free breakfast?? I get good help is hard to find. Thecashier had ?the out of it stare?. The manager wasn?t much better. The general spirit of all the Rapid City taco John?s is dead.We loved the salsa bar and it?s gone. We are reduced to mild and hot (not so much). Even Taco Bell has five different sauces. Read more
Tacos were good. The dining area was not clean. Service was slower than usual. It was really cold in the dining room.
I tried something different and didn't care for it. Grilled beef taco (too much taco meat, tortilla, and cheese sauce). My... partner wanted the chicken boss bowl; but, they were out of rice. The potato Ole's are always good. Read more
Used to respect taco john's, but after this potato oles, I don't think I will ever eat here again. Not only did we wait a half... hour for our food my ole's we basically nothing but crumbs and that's ridiculous. Read more
Updating my review. Our last two orders have been messed up pretty bad. They're not taking our order correctly and then the bag... doesn't even match up with what's on our receipt. It's really too bad the food is good, because the drive-thru is ridiculouslyslow and they really struggle to get orders correct. I don't know why they have a drive-thru. I've probably burned a gallon offuel sitting in line for the last 25 minutes, there weren't even 10 cars in front of me. Read more
All the stores in Rapid need to have this same layout. Big and clean. My burritos were actually made very well. It was great.
A good location with good food. We went late in the evening a couple of times and got good service and well prepared, fresh,... hot food. The area needs to be better lit and it would be more inviting after dark. Read more
