We were traveling through the area and were recommended this restaurant by a local in Rapid River. We had a larger group, and... they were able to fit us all in right away. Our service wasn?t the greatest, but the food made up for all of that. Everythingwas homemade, hot and bursting with flavor. Busy little restaurant with friendly atmosphere and helpful wait staff. The suggested restaurant specialities (like sweet potato... waffle fries and fried whitefish) were excellent! Delightful little local restaurant with a great menu, fresh food and friendly service. I had the chicken fried steak and it... was tender and crispy with great flavor. The fried portobellos were also good! I asked for a couple of my sides to go andthey packaged them very nicely for travel. I highly recommend! I did get one of the cinnamon rolls to go but that will haveto wait for another day! Looks amazing tho! Read more
