This is seriously the most annoying thing. You ask for extra fry sauce so they give you containers all literally filled 1/3 with... sauce. Is it to save money? You'd think it would cost more in containers. How about you just fill them up and charge more sopeople don't have to order 17 extra fry sauces with an order. Literally all of them were like this. It's just reallystrange. Edit: came back 3 days later. Unbelievable. It's 8:16 and all the drive thru lights, including menu light is turnedoff, even though they're open til 10. Had the cod and chips. Wanted the halibut but the were out. The shakes were cold and thick. The cod was done well. Haven't tried... their hamburgers yet. Fries were crinkle cut. Not crispy seasoned ones. Read more
I have always enjoyed the food and icecream everytime we are in the area we need to stop at least once during our trip.

Feel like Fish & Chips? Try Zip's, Not just any Zip's The two best are Zip's Rathdrum, ID and Zip's in Mead, WA. They must get... their supplies from different sources or they don't order the same fish. These two must talk because they put out the best fastfood Fish & Chips within 100 miles. Only other place we eat Fish & Chips is Red Lobster where we pay twice what Zip's charges.We only do that when we want dessert, which is not that often. The staff was friendly, outgoing, polite, accommodating and efficient. My order was filled promptly and accurately. The... burgers were hot and fresh and the ctinkle-cut fries were crisp, not greasy, hot and not overly salted. Quality was a cutabove the typical chain fast food fare, and served nearly as quickly. The dine-in seating area was clean, uncluttered and notcramped, offering generous amounts of space for booths and tables and chairs. I removed one star due to restrooms needingrepairs and more frequent cleaning. Overall the food is fine, the pricing a bit high for basic fast food. For the same dollarsyou can get full service sit-down service at many locally owned restaurants. For fast food burger &fries genre, I choose Zips,supporting a locally owned chain of restaurants, rather than national corporate type establishments. Read more
