Food was mediocre for fresh Maine seafood. When the fries are the biggest attraction, you have a problem with your seafood. The... girl behind the window was terribly rude. She acted like we were interrupting her social life. Very embarrassing experience whenshowing friends from Tennessee around. The gentlemen in the market were much more inviting to people from away. Very expensive for what you get. Ordered shrimp and when I asked for cocktail sauce she said they were out. How can you be out... of that??? Food was warm at best . The food was good not great and pretty expensive! My lobster roll was good, my family members clam cake dinner was over cooked... to the point of being burnt! The real issue I had with this place is! After spending over 100 bucks for lunch I asked the serverif I could have a bowl or something similar to put water in for my doggies! She proceeded to hand me a container that you wouldput ketchup in! I said no can I please get a bigger container and she said "We don't give out water ". I didn't need water as Ihad my own water I just wanted a container to put it in! After having a few words with the server after offering to buy acontainer she finally gave me a cup to put my water in! Mind you now this was after paying over $100 bucks on lunch! Needless tosay I wasn't impressed and I doubt if I will visit this establishment anymore! The server was very snotty about our wholeinteraction! We always take visitors and family here. The food is pretty good especially if you like seafood. It is pricey and honestly I... prefer more flavor myself. I really used to adore to their French fries but they have since charged then which was a huge bummerto me, don't get me wrong, fries are still good but not like they used to be when you could walk inside and order and sit attheir 2 takes in there. I visited this spot for the first time last Summer and made it back a week or so ago. I decided to try their bun-free lobster... roll given I?m cutting back on bread. I also opted for light mayo. I found the portion generous and the taste fresh anduncomplicated - it?s lobster, it?s able to stand on its own and any good lobster roll joint takes that into account. Read more

Great place right on rt.302. I had the haddock dinner with onion rings and home made potato salad. The haddock was cut, cooked,... and seasoned perfectly. The onion rings were great and the potato salad was excellent. The outdoor dining area was very cleanand someone was out there maintaining it while I was there.
