No normally this Minsky's is really awesome. It just happened to be kind of slow and an off night. I guess The breadsticks... weren't really cooked that much and kind of doughy. Our server. Tia, was excellent!!! So very nice, polite and efficient! The Jumbo Combo thin crust pizza was loaded with the... meats, veggies and cheese. It was very thin yet the bottom of the crust was a little doughy which was just the way we like it.Also, the St. Louis style ravioli was crispy and hot, very tasty! Waitress was great but they don't know how to make deep dish pizza at this location. It's the same thickness as their regular... crust unfortunately. I have eaten thick crust at the State line location for years and it truly is a thick pizza. The middlepart is like fresh baked bread. I took some pictures of their thin crust for comparison. The crust is kinda tall so I think theyused a deep pan but not nearly enough dough for a deep dish pizza. Wish I had a regular crust pizza for comparison though. Read more
My family and I stopped in to eat last night after a family gathering. We did not know that parties of 12 or more had to make a... reservation and we had 16 people in our party. After the young man at the counter told us that we would not be able to beseated, the manager then came out and gladly seated us. We were then able to enjoy Minsky's awesome pizza and enjoy our familytime. A BIG shout out to the lady managing last night.
