Quaint cafe that serves breakfast & lunch. We went to the cafe for lunch & it was a surprising delight! I have driven past... this place multiple times & it was always busy in the morning. After today?s food, I see why! I dined on a Gouda panini withtomatoes & spinach. Bbq chips help compliment the meal. Keep in mind chips are a la carte. The strawberry lemonade is a musttry. Don?t be overwhelmed by the multiple drink choices, including drAnks. However it made my head spin there were somany. The sweet potato bar is deliciously sweet with the homemade crust being ????!! I also purchased the red velvetcheesecake but haven?t been greedy enough to eat that just yet ;) The salmon sliders look excellent to try - those are only onSat. Enjoyed the jazz play on the colorful speakers behind my seat. We appreciated that we were not rushed out of therestaurant even after eating. It made for an enjoyable afternoon catching up. There?s a nook in the far back or in the frontfor cozy seating. Otherwise there are an array of barstool tables for your dining delight. I will def be back & want to trythe morning options as well. I am absolutely blown away by this hidden gem. A friend from Raytown recommended Serenity a while ago, and I finally made the... trip out there. Basically, I will be frequenting this place as much as possible!! Everything, from the coffee to the food to thesetting and music, is incredible. I ordered a cafe au lait with oat milk. This can be difficult to make tasty with the plantmilk, but the barista was incredible and it tasted like the best cafe au lait I?ve ever had. My friend ordered a caramel latteand it was also fantastic. We later ordered food and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of food, the explosiveflavors, and creativity in the recipes. My picture includes my smoked salmon wrap and my friend ordered the Gouda panini and asalad. Love love love this place, and the staff are all super sweet and helpful, asking us frequently if we were ok and if weneeded anything. Go here if you want the best coffee and food in town!???? A comfortable cafe located in raytown, serenity cafe is the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and a tasty lunch. While I... was there I had the smoke turkey panini at the suggestion of the lady behind the counter and it was delicious. On the side ofthe sandwich came a creamy spicy spread that was wonderful addition to the already very flavorful meal, that sauce took it toanother level. I also had an iced mocha coffee to drink and that also was very good. Customer service was well above what youwould expect in a coffee shop and for that reason i can not wait to go back to try all the other tasty treats they have tooffer. Read more
I was so excited to have my watermelon tea and my sweet potato bar, I couldn?t finish my sandwich. The chicken salad sandwich... never disappoints. It was fresh and flavorful as always. Read more
The drinks were very pleasantly presented. Kinda ombré looking! I got a mocha latte and my bf got a white mocha latte we are... both happy with our drinks. We are currently sitting out on the patio watching traffic and listening to the birds. I do believewe have found out new Saturday morning date place!! The people were quite nice as well!! The most beautiful cafe. I loved the atmosphere and attention we recieved from the staff. The barista was covering for the... normal barista, and said if we didnt like our drinks she would remake them, but she did an amazing job. I got a London fog andit was so good, perfect for the weather. We also got 2 paninis freshly made and hot, one chocolate croissant, and a plaincroissant, both very warm and delicious. This is one of my favorite cafes/coffee shops in town. Today we tried three different breakfast items. They were all so good.... But the French toast was my favorite! And I dont typically enjoy French toast. I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND the sweet potatocheesecake. Out of this world. The balance of sweet potatoes to the creaminess of the cheesecake was exquisite!!
