Smothered ribeye sandwich is the bomb. Not thinly shaved slices, but a half-inch slab cooked to order (medium rare please).... Definitely pay all the little extras for the sweet potato tots with horseradish and honey butter dipping sauces. The horseradishcan be double used with the ribeye for that extra kick to change up the whole sweet savory experience. There brewery also makesa legit smooth nitro porter... Read more

This place has a great atmosphere and a great view of the water. Service was good. Be warned the flies are bad outside with... food right now. We had 3 different sandwiches and tried all the beers. The sweet potatoes tots were the best. The sandwicheswere OK. The beer was OK. Nothing was bad. But nothing stood out. Read more

Very friendly staff, great food and beer BUT if you're dining in a group over 4-5, they will NOT let you move tables together!... They also don't take reservations, so it's impossible to even request that your tables are at least by each other. Furthermore, they don't allow any other food but appetizers at their large picnic tables in the grassy area, which I think may have madesense when they used to be really busy as those tables served as the waiting area, but I've never seen them with a wait the lastfew weekends I've been there, so I wish they would at least let the larger parties share a meal together at a large picnictable. The house rules are very unaccommodating for groups of friends or larger families. I do however really like the patio andambience. The view of the water is fantastic, and if you're with a smaller party of more more than 4-5 people, I highlyrecommend this place for a casual, peaceful meal and/or happy hour! Read more

Great food, decent beers, and friendly staff. The view isn't too shabby either. Definitely worth a stop.

Atmosphere is awesome, great view of the river and nice space. Food is just ok, not worth the price. $15 for 2 small fish tacos,... $11 for a 12x4 Flatbread where they put the toppings on afterward instead of baked in so they are room temp and fall everywhere.Drinks are standard. Read more

Reads Landing is a tiny town (hamlet?) in the middle of nowhere. Keep your eyes peeled - the turn comes up fast, as the tiny... town is nestled in a bend of US Hwy 61 - blink and you miss it. Visited the restaurant on a warm October Saturday afternoonabout 1:30. The venue was packed: there was a line for tables and lines outside the restrooms. It was as busy as any place I?vebeen to since the start of the pandemic. Building is at least 100 years old and possibly much older. Large windows and plentyof outdoor seating provide scenic river views while you enjoy your meal. We order a couple of cocktails right away. My wife?sBloody Mary was tasty with just the right amount of spice. My screwdriver was fine. It took over 30 minutes for us to get ourfood. I ordered weiner schnitzel, which was a little over-cooked and dry. Could have used some gravy perhaps. The German potatosalad was dry and a bit vinegary. My wife?s smothered ribeye sandwich was well-cooked, tender and flavorful. Her potato saladhad an unusually sweet but pleasant flavor. Our server was attentive, efficient and pleasant. She came by once just toapologize for the slow kitchen. Overall I?d highly recommend this restaurant. I think the big crowd was unusual, and I expectservice won?t be as slow next time. Read more

Really cool brewery right on the river. Good selection of micro brews. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lots of old... vintage signs as decor. Really nice outdoor patio seating. Menu was much larger than expected. Beautiful scenery. Nice to wanderdown to the river after having a beer! Read more

We noticed the brewery sign as we were driving along the River Road and googled it to get some information. As we would be in... the area again on one of their days of operation, we decided to stop. A great discovery that we simply wandered into. Funselection of microbrews on tap, cordial bartender, great vibe inside, pretty outdoor patio, and a wonderful looking menu. Weloved the proximity to the railroad tracks and the Mississippi River. Two of us enjoyed the Foghorn Hazy IPA and another had avodka lemonade. Wish we could have returned to eat here (I need to satisfy my Scotch Eggs craving), but our road trip timingsimply didn't allow it. Will definitely return when in the area again. Read more
