Had dinner here on 10/19/2022. VERY nice place, stylish and super clean! Large diverse menu (not the same old stuff) and a GREAT... soup and salad bar. I had the Beef Tips and Gravy over Garlic Mashed Potatoes and hubby had their Wed special of Rib/ChickenCombo. Very good! Seems a bit pricey for the area but the portions are Huge! Shout out to our waitress, sorry didn't get hername. She was the only one taking table orders but darn was she good!! Fast, efficient and super nice!! Wish it were closer (weare 45 mins away) but will definitely be our go to place for special occasions! Read more
We showed up with a group of 6 adults and 2 high chairs. They were short staffed and could have easily turned us away, however... they smiled and were more than happy to work us in. The waitress was so nice and you could tell she loved her job! She was supersweet in putting up with our silly Illinoisan request and questions lol. The drinks are very good! I had no idea that BloodyMary's come with a beer chaser in some areas ????????????????. The food was amazing and will definitely be back again nextyear!! Read more
I'm genuinely amazed how hard working people are making this place so great that you want to keep coming back! The food is... always great. The menu here is full of various flavors. More than you would expect. Our favorite fish to classic Italian optionsof tasty pastas and more. Outdoor patio seating is the luxury of best driftless area views of the valley and hills. Those onion rings are the BEST ever! Lightly breaded and super crisp, they are ringy perfection to me. The burger (which I split... with my mom) was good, too (especially the bread) and the fries were fine. The bloody Mary is pretty good as well, though Iwish it had a salt rim of some sort. If you're travels bring you to Readstown, be sure to make a stop at this place! Read more
Staying In viroqua for the weekend and we got into town Saturday a little later and a lot of places were closing soon and I... wanted to sit outside so we drove back to this place that we passed on the way. Place is pretty hoppin?. Got a seat outside andenjoyed the beautiful view while we waited for our food. Service and food were good. I would definitely go back to this place ifI?m ever in town again. I really do love the little diner, however I've had hit or miss food here. It's not to be overly picky at all. The food just... lacks a little something. Especially for what you pay for the meals. You kinda expect there to be good flavorful food. The staffis 10/10 wonderful staff. Never been disappointed there. The restaurant and bar always has been well taken care of and clean. Read more
