Went here with some friends on a Sunday afternoon. The location was very open and airy. Was right off the garden that fronts the... restaurant. We loved this place,everyone was super friendly and the food was great. The salad was so good. I had pork loin and my husband... had baked chicken. So good we paid the suggested 30 a piece plus 20 more. I didn't mind because since it was A10 hour drive I'msure I won't be back ever. If I was closer I'd go at least once a month. We read so many great reviews about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The staff and atmosphere was pleasant and... welcoming. The food was delicious, We had the salmon with garlic spinach sauce and the butternut squash soup. This willdefinitely be one of our favorite spots to eat healthy food. The best thing about this restaurant is that it serves thecommunity with delicious and healthy food no one is turned away because of lack of money but encouraged to volunteer their time. When you eat here you are also contributing to their positive cause of “feeding all” regardless their economic background. We encourage all to visit, you will not regret it. Read more

The volunteer waitress was cordial, which we appreciated. But if we talk about the food during a slow lunch, we were... disappointed. With high reviews, we were hoping to get better grubs. Not to sound ungrateful, but the salad was too plain, ourlittle guy didn't like the dried tater, and the chips was leathery bitter burned taste. It's a good thing they served pieces offruits for our little guy who was so hungry driving all the way up to New Jersey. We liked the garden, the store across thestreet and hoping to get a glimpse of John, but it was asking too much. We were just glad to have partaken with the facilitythat John & Dorothea established to help their community. So, we paid our bills for 3 and donated another $50 then took off. Read more
