First time coming here and ordered take out food. The food was excellent and ready when I got there. Ordered to-go points of the... beef brisket, which was great. Brussel Sprouts, Hush Puppies, and corn bread were great, also. I'm glad I finally tried thisplace and will definitely try it again. Read more
Went here with a group of 5, after having them at a work catered event. Ordered the pig out to go item, and it was great from... start to finish. Dry rub wings had an amazing balance of salty, sweet, and savory. Bbq chicken was moist, both the light anddark meat, with the right amount of sauce. Ribs had similar rub to the wings, and were cooked well, not dry like ive had atother smoke shops. Onion rings (ordered separately) were battered well, crispy and the actual onion wasnt slimy, and didnt allcome out on the first bite. I could go on and on, but trust me we enjoyed every item that came out as part of the platter. Tocompliment, the customer service was top notch. They were attentive, came out to check on us, and made us feel likefamily. Strongly recommend checking them out if you are in the red bank area. Read more
We recently ordered bbq catering for a Celebration of Life event from Local Smoke. Kevin was a breeze to work with, very kind... and accommodating, and delivery was right on time and very professional. Each time I've come here the service has been immediate, extremely friendly and to top it all off the food consistently great.... Each time its been hot, fresh and perfectly cooked. So much so my partner and I went 4 Fridays in a row to try more of theirmenu! My favorite is the pulled pork sandwich with the sweat potato fries. The pork is juicy and tender and the sauce that'smixed in with it is slightly sweet rounding off the savory pork perfectly. The sweet potato fries where crispy on the outsideand soft fluffy on the inside. We always look forward to eating here when we're in the area! Read more

Ordered take out as I've done before. Upon paying they were charging a "credit card fee". When I indicated that fee was always... included in the price, they removed the charge. More important than that the food was so overcooked, it was like Jerky. Iwasn't about to cross them off my go-to's until my neighbor related a similar experience to me. I cannot recommend thisestablishment. Read more
