Lively, busy place on a Saturday night in August. Lots of small parties going on - engagements, birthdays, etc. Not a quiet,... romantic setting type of place. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our waiter Walter was fantastic. He explainedeverything in detail and answered every question. Food came out fast, would have liked a little more time between appetizers andmain course. All the food was delicious - no disappointments among our group. Another bonus is that it's a BYOB. Really cute byob spot! I would recommend making a reservation especially on a weekend if that's possible. I came here with my... boyfriend around 4:30 for an early dinner and it was pretty busy. All staff were wearing masks. No one approached our table forquite a while and we were sat with no access to a menu. It took about 15 minutes for a QR code to be given to us but after that,the service was good! We started off with the rice balls which I recommend. Not something I normally would order so it was anice treat. I got the eggplant parm with a side of spaghetti. Also very delicious. I don't usually clean my plate but I didhere! Portion size was normal, not too big not too small, it was filling. We ended with dessert which was the chocolate lavacake I believe! I threw a surprise birthday party in the upstairs, private area and it was outstanding. I am so impressed! From the moment we... arrived to set up, several staff members came outside to help unload my car, they helped with decorations and laying out theBYOB alcohol for us. They were also so, so polite. The private area was perfect for the event, service for our guests wasamazing and the food just kept coming! All of our guests kept complimenting how they were able to just sit at the table andevery time they looked up, more food was on the table! Great pasta and dessert. Skip the tomahawk steak, low quality steak. We were seated by the stairs, asked to be seat away but... host just ignored us, asked again and host responded “I don’t know”. 2 hours into dinner, more than 5 tables stay empty,so we could have changed our table. The foot traffic by the stairs was very disturbing. Waiters were rushing down the stairsand almost ran into my daughter’s seat. A little disappointed and really couldn’t enjoy our dinner. Read more
3.5 stars is not an option so I'll give it 4 stars. It's hard to compete with the amazing Italian restaurants in Red Bank, so I... thought it was good but not my favorite. The chicken parm was delicious, and the pasta was good. Interesting but tastycharcuterie board, fun atmosphere. Read more
Excellent service and Italian food. We were a party of 7. We started off with calamari which I think was good but a little... bland, it was missing spice. The menu said sauteed in a spicy cherry pepper sauce but we didn’t receive that. We also sharedthe rice balls and Insalata Mista which was fresh with a refreshing lemon dressing. Our table shared a bottle of pino and ourmain courses were good portions and flavorful (see photos). The staff always made sure we had water and they were attentive. Fordessert we had coffee or espresso and the pistachio dessert, puff pastry and something else (I forget). It was a wonderfuldinner with great ambiance. There were a lot of birthdays tonight. They play loud festive music that everyone takes part in.Food on pricey side, we split the bill of $400 including tip. Would definitely go back. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. Read more
