The food is good and the owners are great people. Cant say more about how welcoming they are. The building is huge so a great... place for large parties. We celebrated birthdays there took our out of town family there. We went there alot because it was thekids favorite place in town, they would order a hamburger. I once had a beef soup there it was a special and boy was it good, Iwould order that anytime it is available. I also like both veggie enchiladas. We were traveling and spending the night in Red Bluff and initially chose another Mexican restaurant close to our hotel. As we... entered we were told to take any table (we were the only people in the restaurant) but no one brought us a menu so finally wegot up and left and went to Guadalajara instead. It proved to be an excellent choice. The staff was super friendly andattentive, the service was timely, and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the Guadalajara Especial and they happily substitutedsour cream for guacamole. My husband?s enchiladas suizas were equally tasty. Alba was our server and she did a wonderful job! The restaurant was clean, food was great, and we found out the food is made to... order so you can make adjustments to your food if desired. I ordered the espresso burrito and it was fantastic! My wife orderedthe vegetarian fajitas and they were so good! Alba made our evening very pleasant as we had a rough day and this was our firstvisit to this establishment. We don't live here but if we pass through again I would definitely eat here again. This was pollo con arroz. It was dehydrated and dry so I had to order a side of rice you can tell it was much different a... fresher. The stuff on top didn't have any seasoning.not worth the price. Read more
It's ok. Nothing I've eaten there has been bad, and nothing I've eaten has been particularly special. That being said: the... atmosphere and table comfort are outstanding, as is the energy and attention of the staff. You definitely walk away feelingexceptionally well served. The bar and drink menu are also fairly extensive for these parts. Read more
I'm in love eating here! Just wow!!! I order a combo plate one tamale and cheese enchilada. Normally I don't order tamala... because most mexican restaurants makes their tamale dry. This tamale was so moist and the waitress reccomend putting enchiladasauce on top of it. So I put the sauce on top of the tamale and it was just so much more flavor! The cheese enchilada I had wasso tasty! The service is beyond outstanding. I will definitely be coming here more. I don't know why I never came here whenthey first open. I'm regretting for not coming sooner. Another thing I like about this restaurant they have more parking in theback. Read more
I could give10 stars, I would! This is absolutely the cleanest restaurant that I've ever been in! Everything including the... kitchen and restrooms are spotless! Not to mention the quality of the food, which is outstanding! It's been a couple of monthssince I last went there, due to traveling, but the owners Carlos and Alba recognized me immediately. This really makes adifference to me, and no doubt to others. There's a local resident who gets dressed up in his finest just to go there, but otherrestaurant in Red Bluff! I wish I could give 0 stars, my husband and I went there and the food was awful. I got a seafood chimichanga and there was still... shells on the crab, and was incredibly soggy I'm guessing it was microwaved as well. The beans almost tasted sour the overallexperience was just not great. When we first went in I thought the restaurant was nice looking but we were the only ones thereduring what you would normally think a dinner rush would be like I couldn't figure out why it was so dead but after the food andthe experience with the staff I then understood.
