Just came home from picking up food from there. Drive threw didn?t explain to tell me there was 2 different kinds of uncle... burger. I was expecting bacon and cheese instead just a plain burger. I?m not happy with this service !!! If I wanted a plainburger I would ask for it!!!! Needless to say I will not go to that location again as dew from today and the past they mess upon my order. Old, cold and stale fries were given along with cold chicken strips. Called to address the matter, manager needs some work on... customer service. I?ve had to request fresh fries and chicken before as this has happened before. I missed requesting it thistime, but shouldn?t have to request for fresh food. Read more
The food was okay, not as good as other locations. But what really deterred me from returning to this location is the last 2... visits where a girl, maybe she's a manager, was yelling at the other 2 employees. Same lady both times just yelling at her 2coworkers while looking at the cell phone in her hands. I don't want to consume food produced by people who are busy having somesort of conflict, it doesn't seem like an environment that can produce careful, healthy food. Read more
My Wife, daughter and I stop in there last night to grab dinner, when we arrived the Lady that was taking our order was great,... the problem my wife and I had was that this lady ( brown hair in a pony tail with the drive through headset) cleaning vents inthe celling with some sort of cleaning solution with a narrow brush, right over the area where the food was placed and over thecooking station for the fries. Belive me I am all about cleansiness, but the problem I have is that it was right over were ourfood was being placed and when my wife and I said something about it the lady doing the cleaning work, stopped and was giving usdrity looks like we where the ones doing something wrong, and while were sitting eating our dinner we could hear her talkingabout us. (Small restaurant) I work in a seniors home with a comercail kitchen, that type of work is done when the kitchen isclosed and is cleaned after hours, not while you are serving food. Love the location. Go here quit often. Really nice restaurant. But customer service is not great!!! The woman today (possibly)... some sort of manager. Dark hair wearing the drive though headset at lunch time. Needs serious work on her ppl skills. Said howbusy she was, tossed my order on the tray and shoved it at me. But seemed to have lots of time for her family. That were in therestaurant visiting her. Won?t be back to this A&W location anymore. Read more
Ordered breakfast through Skip from this location Saturday June 18th. They called me and said they don't have any bread to... fulfill the order. Instead of the employees doing due diligence and cancelling the order, I had to cancel the order myself. Just to check, I went back to Skip an hour later and their menu still said they had bread. Funny, ain't it? This place isterrible from franchise owner down to employee. There are 8 or more other A&W locations in Red Deer that will ALL give you abetter experience than this place is capable of. With inflation the way it is, don't give your hard earned money to thisbusiness. Read more
Try to change our order to a combo (and order more food). The manager interrupted us, severely reprimanded us, and was very rude... so cancelled order and now we're going to McDonald's. Read more
