Atmosphere was very country, very chill. Hostess and waitress were quite prompt without being too fake. My steak came cold, but... I'm putting that down to miscommunication between server and kitchen. My shrimp skewer was piping hot, and the 7oz sirloin wasgreat, rare as requested. I wanted garlic mashed potatoes but be warned, they came coated with lobster bisque. I had requested'traditional' and chose no gravy. Cheesecake afterwards was great, and hey, they had my Canadian! We came to this location last winter, service was not great. Food was terrible. Steaks were over cooked. They had given us $20... in “redemption” cards. We figured this summer (6mths later) it couldn’t possibly be as bad as that. Service was better.Steak still over cooked, which is really disappointing, as it’s a steak house. Honestly, I am usually excited to eat at Mr. Mikes. However my visit today was extremely disappointing as i ordered the... ..Sizzling Serloin Bites...when they came out, they were more like dry sirloin bites..at best! Total faulse advertising andextremely disappointing ???? when expecting SIZZLE as advertised on the menu..and they come out battered n deep fried. I guessi got fooled n paid roughly 17.00 for battered deep fried ? !!!!! Should change the menu from sizzle to dry bites. Read more
Food aways taste good and reasonable price. The service is great and the kids love their panko shrimp.
I ordered summer platter and coconut chicken soup. It blasted, especially shrimp on baguet so yummy. The service so fast. The... waitress so helpful. I drove 5hours and had a fantastic supper here. Read more
The appetizers were okay, they came out hot and tasted good. The rest was terrible. The waitress was friendly but our drinks... came after our appetizers and our steaks kept being "5 more minutes" for 40 minutes. Then they were so tough and overcooked wedidn't even get through 1/4 of them.. nothing was done when we complained. The price plus the wait for drinks and bad steakswill not get me back here.
