On Monday, January 3rd, 2022, I purchased the OPA platter with the chicken skewer & the Greek salad. Although the chicken,... bread, rice, and olives were fine, the rest of my meal was disgusting. About 3/4 of the tomatoes in the salad tasted rancid &were rubbery. Several of the cucumbers were bitter, as were most of the peppers. There was very little salad dressing on all theveggies; some even had none! Although the red onions tasted all right, they are certainly not very appealing to eat in chunkswhen they are dry! My potato was also not cooked properly or evenly; part of it tasted somewhat raw. I was very disappointedwith my visit. Read more
Wow what a long wait on a Sunday around 1:30pm. There were people in line and people waiting for their orders. It seemed on the... slow end for the number of waiting customers. None of the workers wore hairnets or beard nets while prepping food. The food wasfresh and hot. Lots of sauce on the pita wrap. Read more
I have never had a bad meal at Opa Bower Mall. Their calamari is THE BEST I have had in Red Deer or anywhere . Service is... exceptional, always friendly . Saini and Yogesh were the only workers today and no line up and guys pleasant and smiling. Thanks guys. Bill Read more
I always get the same meal, chicken caesar pita with fries here. Always good, and my son loves it as well. Sometimes I do have... to stress that yes, I want caesar salad in the chicken pita, (it must not be a common request lol), but they are more thanaccommodating with extra Tzatziki sauce, etc. I LOVE their fries! This Opa is normally decent. I went today to get an Opa platter and was extremely disappointed at the quality and customer... service. I had to repeat myself multiple times to both the cashier and the employee making the food. I was not offered areceipt, nor was I given a scratch ticket. The workers seemed a little bit unorganized an unsure of what to do. I had to askedthe employee making my platter for a scratch ticket and they said you didn't get one? No. I understand them asking, but found italmost as if they were treating me as though I was stupid. They barely put my chicken on the grill unlike other Opa locations.When eating my pita, I found it soft and cold, not crispy and hot. Overall, very disappointed at the quality of food andservice.
