Ordered lunch with the office.. we all got fish and chips.. we were missing a salad and fries and almost none of the fish was... fully cooked... call the store as we ordered off the website - not skip. And she advised we would have to contact skip and therewas nothing she could do for us.. i didnt order off skip. We are not impressed.. over $100 order and told nothing they could dofor us. Read more
The place is not eager to give options for those with sensitivities. Mashed have Gluten here No one else do All you can have is... boring sides. Why not a baked Potatoe, appetizers that fill you that don't have Gluten. It's been a couple years since we werehere. Read more
Just popped in for an after work snack and drink and had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Ty!! I cant believe... they are normally behind the bar!! We had lots of laughs and the service was so fast and fun too! Cannot recommend the placeenough especially if you are being looked after by Ty! EDIT: sorry its meant to be 5 1/2 stars!!! The food was FANTASTIC. The ambeyance was very warm and inviting. The service was phenomenal, everyone helped each other. The... mini Yorkies are very good but the horseradish was a little overbearing. The ace burger poutine was wonderful. No flavorinterrupted the other. Very savory and tangy. It wasn't the greatest experience unfortunately. The food was slow to arrive and the price was pretty expensive. It wasn't our... serving staff but some foul up in the kitchen. Either way kind of a disappointing experience while taking my son to lunch whilehe was visiting from far away. Update: My wife and I came back and WOW did this restaurant ever redeem itself! A family of five visiting from the UK, we stopped at Original Joe's in Red Deer for a break on our road trip from Edmonton to... Calgary. The service was excellent, with a friendly helpful server, and the food was really quite lovely. We didn't even realiseit was a chain restaurant until later on. Highly recommend. Read more
I stopped in for a late lunch, I was greeted immediately with a warm professional smile, and direction to find a table that's... make me feel comfortable. My Servers name was Serena, she is the dream server, exceeded expectations in every single aspect ofmy lunch. With the highest level of professionalism she was able to make each person feel like their experience was importantto her. Sometimes in 2022 service has slipped, I want to make sure that you don't think my comments are based on a good servercompared to the decline. My comments are based on wanting to give someone 100% tip. While I was writing this, her interactionswith a coworker, made me want to include it. A natural normal work conversation, but she included compliments withenthusiasm. If you are ever near Red Deer, I would recommend stopping by to see Serena. I have Covid and wanted soup. Because I couldn?t do pickup we used skip to get food. I got a pacific rim bowl, my husband got... some other stuff, but when it arrived only the noodles were in the bag, not the container with the broth and fixings. Long storyshort the manager (I didn?t catch her name unfortunately) was getting off shift and drove soup to our house and gave us a freedessert, when she easily could have just said ?that?s on skip, not us?
