We felt the NY strip steak sandwich would have been better if it were sliced. We were charged $19.00, menu said $17.00. Boneless... wings were great, coleslaw was very good. We were offered fries that came out as fried tater tots. Moscow mule drinks wereserved in a stemless wine glass, no ice, not the best. Service was very good! Read more

We took a rather roundabout route home from our vacation and were rather desperate for a place to eat. We stumbled upon this... restaurant and I am very glad we did. This turned out to be one of our favorite places to eat of our entire trip. The food andatmosphere were great. Service was fantastic. Read more

This isn't going to be one of those reviews that's all in caps going crazy. Really I just want to write this more as advice from... my experience. 1. I was really grateful they took reservations, because I had a whole day planned for my dear sister for herbirthday, and needed to know we could be seated as a large group. So, I do thank them for that and appreciate it. 2. Theissues: Drinks: The waitress didn't seem to know what drinks were available, and the drinks were not listed on the menu. When weasked if they had lattes, she replied that they had cappuccinos, and then made no effort to like, go and confirm what they didhave until we kept pressing. Those of us who ordered coffee received cold coffee (this was only an hour after opening forbreakfast hours), which was replaced when we asked, but you shouldn't serve cold coffee, and we were the only people there. (Asecond smaller group arrived well into our first hour.) Issue: The Wait: Only 6 out of 8 people ended up coming, and we orderedthe following items: Avocado toast, two omelets, 2 breakfast wraps, and french toast. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes forbreakfast to come out and we were the only people there (for most of our visit). Again, I know times are tough, maybe someonecalled out, but, since there was no communication or apology or acknowledgement of what was happening, I can neither offerempathy nor understanding. Issue: The Food. I'm not an unreasonable person, if the food was to die for, I could forgive a longwait time with no explanation, but the food was not good. The french toast was composed of two very dark small edges/or edgelooking peices of a loaf of bread. The omelets were both wrong, either having added or missing items. One omelet had so muchpepper in it, the person could not finish it, and was tasting it for most of the day. The avocado toast was not mashed, it wasjust sliced, which is a nit-pick as you can do it both ways, but let's be real, we all expect it to be mashed. The Read more

Food here is delicious, but attention need to be put on the ciders. My friend and I asked for the same cider, guava-licious.... After pouring the whole can in each of our cups, my friend?s cider was a pink color (expected since it?s a guava cider) but minewas yellow. Quality of the same drink should be same. Also, I asked for a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato but received aplain one. Waitress did not apologize for either instances. So overall food itself is good, but drink and customer service canbe improved. Read more

After reading so many positive reviews it?s hard to believe we went to the same place. There were Pros and cons but the cons... were big. Pros: Outside was a nice eating area, inside was cute with a woman singing pleasantly. Nice server. Cons were the foodtook forever( close to an hour) for simple fare (sandwiches, fries, omelette). When the food finally came 2 out of 3 sandwicheswere soggy with mushy tomatoes and spoiled lettuce. No warning when we sat down that there would be a long wait, just repeatedassurances that the food was coming. Omelette was over cooked & the wrong kind of omelette. It was so disappointing. This is my second attempt at writing a review but I'm going to assume the universe does not want my original review out there... because I accidentally wiped it out. All I can say from my experience, I will NEVER attempt to eat there again! From all thereviews I read I can only assume this place has gone downhill real fast in two weeks.(that was the most recent review fromsomeone else.) DON'T waste your money here. Read more

Such a cute and delicious little find only about a mile off the Taconic State Parkway heading towards Redhook New York. While... I was traveling north I found myself a bit hungry so I pulled off the Taconic heading into red hook to grab a bite to eat when Idiscovered this hidden little gem. Boasting a diverse menu focused on what I would consider southern comfort food it lists suchthings as Louisiana cage in gumbo, gourmet mac & cheese, or healthier selections such as pesto grilled chicken wrap. Prices areextremely reasonable and they have a healthy adult beverage selection. For those of you passing by on Sunday they have livemusic from 12 to 2. Stephanie the owner, is also runs local nonprofit business to support veterans through her equine therapyprogram. Stephanie also donates her precious time to volunteer on the local rescue squad. There are so many amazing reasonsto visit this hidden little treasure when you stop and make sure you tell Stephanie I said hello Read more

Sustainability: I like how they offered veggie options and plant based meats. Overall very expensive for the value of the food.... Crab cakes were expensive and a bit bitter. They were out if corn bread which comes with the meal and forgot to tell us. Whenreminded they gave us a small piece of bread? underwhelming. The chicken pesto wrap was great and so were the fries and Brusselsprouts. Disappointing service?the servers were kind but seemed overworked. I like to support small businesses but not worthit value wise, in my opinion. Read more
