We went for dinner on a Saturday night. In the past the service was impeccable and the food delicious. Sadly, they have slipped... a notch or two. Our eggplant and mozzarella appetizer was cold. They did take it back and reheat it when I asked why it wascold. My chicken parm was okay but wasn't special. They served the main course without giving us any utensils. Savona's Trattoria Red Hook N.Y. Quaint Italian bistro style, calamari was fresh but very overdone, garlic breadstick tasty but... too much oil. Oven brick pizza, thin crust ,tasty but it would have been tastier if pork sausage was used rather than turkeysausage. If your in the area and hankering for pizza give Savona'S a try. $$ Read more

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I are visiting Rhinebeck for a few days for our anniversary. We drove by Savano’s and... decided to make reservations for dinner. The food was incredible. The ambiance perfect. Our waitress Paige was the sweetest! Shewas so busy but didn’t skip a beat. So professional and so nice. We weren’t rushed at all. Our apps were brought out whilewe decided on entrées. Drinks were perfect! Try the Limoncello Spritzer,. Summer in Italy in a glass! Great Italian food. This is our 2nd time eating at this restaurant (first time was 1 year ago in Kingston location). Both... experiences were excellent. We would definitely go again and again. This Red Hook location is a beautiful restaurant, with agreat atmosphere including a large amount of outdoor seating. The indoor seating is well distanced. The service was stellar andall the hostess and wait staff was very attentive! Great place! Read more
