Decent enough food. Definitely not as good as it was in the past. Had cheese sticks to start, then the ultimate omelet. The... omelet was good but didn?t care for the ?fire roasted? vegetables, would have been better with just fresh vegetables. My wifehad the ultimate slamwhich which was better than the omelet in my opinion, but would have been on sourdough. Read more
We had a very nice waitress by the name of Tara. We requested creamer other than the one they offer and she was nice enough to... offer her own personal creamer and offered suggestions on food choices. She was prompt, nice met our needs. We have never had abad experience at this location and we consider this our favorite Danny's!!! Keep up the good work Tara!!! Read more
My wife and I came in Friday morning and we were promptly greeted by a very nice young man who seated us right away. Our... waitress, Tara, was super fast and made sure we always had our drinks refilled. Food was great! The host checked us out and wasvery quick and courteous and got us on with our day. The hostess Lena was super great. A real people person. Our waitress, Rosaline, needs some training. You could tell she didn't... want to be our waitress or perhaps didn't want to be at work. My son's cup was empty for over 10 minutes. We had gotten ourfood and 3 minutes later she gave us our check. Didnt ask if we were enjoying our food or if we wanted desert. In fact, shenever came back until I went to the hostess to get a refill on our team. I have raved about The Meltdown to all of my friends and family. Tonight I was ashamed for having made the suggestion. The... sandwiches I ordered were favorites of mine and have purchased many times over. This experience tonight has turned me offforever from ordering from this location. Example: Take a look at the ?Feeling Groovy? I received in the photos. Missingmushrooms, bacon and served with unmelted cheese and raw spinach. They were busy but we were acknowledged pretty quickly. We were seated immediately. Our table and bench could have been wiped... down better. The food order came quickly. Everything was good except the grits. The grits were instant and were lumpy. Theserver and hostess were courteous. The manager was courteous on check out. Out of the many times I've visited this location, I was most satisfied this time. There wasn't many customers and we actually... got good service. I ordered the steak omelet with pancakes(strawberries and bananas on side), instead of toast, and jalapeñoson side. It was hot and good. The waitress forgot the salsa but eventually brought it. Not going to lie...we groaned out loud when we realized Denny's was basically our only choice for an easy sit down meal while... traveling through. ... We were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and fast, the restaurant was clean and new, andmost surprisingly...the staff had smiles and seemed to enjoy being there. I didn't catch our waitress's name (beautiful 40ishwoman with red/brown hair), but she was just the sweetest person. We are very glad we stopped. Great job all.around! Read more
