Well I usually don't leave a bad review. This isn't bad but its not spot on. Ordered pouting fries which is supposed to be fries... on top of fried cheese curds and gravy. The curds weren't fried and they were cold so it made the dish barely warm. Ordered abuild your own burger with black bean relish. Burger wad ok. Meat had small chunks of fat which I had to spit out because it wasso chewy. Relish not very tasty so didn't eat it. Server apologized for being caught up in a whirlwind?? Drunks were good. Wow I really wanted to like this place but as tourists we were treated so terribly by the bartender, Johnathan, that I had to... leave this review. If you're a local it's a fine hang out but if you're in town and want to be treated with respect, go to RedRiver Brewing Company instead. Read more
Went for the first time because I?m a tourist visiting Red River. Some local patron ?a customer? started talking to me out of... the blue. I was minding my own business watching the football game keep in mind and he started talking to me. As ourconversation progressed he brought up politics. A bunch of pro Trump rhetoric basically and some light democrat bashing. Imyself don?t really follow politics and would be a very neutral person on these matters. I was just trying to humor the guy actlike I was interested it what he was saying but in reality I could care less either way. THERE WAS NOBODY AROUND US THAT COULDHEAR EVEN REMOTELY WHAT THE GUY WAS TELLING ME! The only person that could hear us was the big overweight white lady bartenderwhen she came to our area to mix a drink. She got angry and told us that we couldn?t be talking about these subjects and we weregonna get kicked out if we continued. I had nothing to do with it! This old guy started talking to me! And he was not being loudor obnoxious. He left and I told her that I had nothing to do with it. She said she could hear us and that politics and religionwere not allowed to be talked about at the bar. I did not see a sign posted at the bar that nobody could talk about politics andreligion at the bar. This lady was extremely rude and had absolutely no right to do what she did. Great place to sit out side and eat/drink if the wheather is nice. They also have a great inside atmosphere. There is a stage... out side and also one inside. By the entrance is a shuffle bord table and some pool tables. I love the classic saloon doors! Read more
We stopped in for late Saturday lunch and music. Nice saloon vibe, wood everywhere, with TV's catching some sporting events. The... drinks, burger and nachos were great. They have a pretty spacious outdoor seating area and good service. You order your foodthen they page you when it's ready. It's a wise solution given the staffing shortages. They bring in musicians throughout theweekend. And there's room for dancing should you feel the need to put on your cowboy boots or boogie shoes. Read more
