Fantastic coffee and hot chocolate. Barista Paige is the best. I took my skinny vanilla latte and sat in the living space... attached. Was beautifully decorated with rustic furniture and antiques. Had relaxing time with husband enjoying the morning.Large specialty coffee was only $4.25. Cannot beat the price for this quality. Thank you Paige for making us feel welcome. TheOklahoma Couple. Stopped in to eat at 330 PM this afternoon. We stood at the "wait here to be seated sign" for over 10 minutes. They were not... busy. No sign of any staff for over 10 minutes. Finally walked up to bar and stood for another 5 and a waitress came from theback. I asked her if we can come in and eat and she said "yes we are open" - then she turned her back to us and answered hercell phone and walked away. So we turned around and left. Better service anywhere in Angel Fire. Eagle Nest can't seem to get agood restaurant going other than the hamburger place that closes at 2 PM. Horrible service for mediocre food here. Read more

The food was good, but there was no customer service. Our waitress had a really bad attitude. I guess because she was expecting... and they were short staffed due to COVID she was in a really bad mood and didn?t care about her job. She was complaining tocustomers about management. We basically had to serve ourselves because she was anywhere but where she was needed. We had tofind our own silverware, napkins, and refilled our own tea glasses. Most customers understand the effects of COVID onbusinesses and employee shortages. That doesn?t give anyone a reason to be rude to the customers that will potentially beleaving a decent gratuity. I don?t understand why she would be that way toward us. We were very polite to her. The building isreally cool. Very historic. I loved the old architecture and furnishings. If not for the lousy service I would leave 5 stars. Read more

Sad to say we didn?t have to greatest experience. There were 8 tables with 2 waitresses and it took 10 minutes to get a menu.... Then another 8 minutes to get our drinks. The place was not crowded. We decided on just appetizers. The chips and salsa wasgood. The beer was cold. The waitress only checked on us once. We asked for our check and it took another 15 minutes to get it.So I can recommend the place if you have a lot of time. Read more
