Got the shrimp and chicken scampi skillet. 3 tiny shrimp (could eat all 3 in 1 bite tiny) half a small chicken breast and 2 very... small cafeteria dollops of mashed potatoes. The food was pretty good (thus 2 stars not 1) but very salty. Think beef jerkysalty. Went during lunch on a Thursday. We were seated right away. Our server, Taylor, was excellent! She made sure I knew that the... extra chicken I ordered in my Chicken Fatija Rollup was going to be an extra charge and even came back to verify that I wantedthe fries that comes with the meal or if I wanted the soup I ordered to replace the fries. Taylor was attentive the whole timewe were there, coming by multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed for a great lunch. The food was delicious!Thank you Cooks!! This is been my favorite restaurant in Redding! No joke! But I ate there last night and I must say I'm considering not going... back and that's devastating ordered the half rack of ribs even the service was not okay. The half rack didn't fall off the boneas advertised if anything I had to tear them apart and by the time I got done I was an absolute mess. Meat was tough and theoverall appeal of the plate was just depressing. This is literally what the waitress brought up to the table a plate with twosmall scoops of mashed potatoes and a half a rack that was it no offer vegetables the plate just looked sad! Didn't eat themashed potatoes they were cold and the red meat was just too tough. Waitress said this I wonder if it was cooked by twodifferent people. I don't think that really matters! Amazing. I've never had a bad experience in an Applebee's, but this experience was truly exceptional. They weren't too busy so... we were seated comfortably. Our waitress Ashley was awesome. She didn't have to write down our order, she just remembered it. Even with appetizers, side salads, and my wife making substitutions to her sides. She stayed on top of our drinks, evenbringing us a preemptive refill, which was greatly appreciated. She was friendly and professional. Now to the food, if youhaven't had Cheeto boneless chicken, you're missing out. So good. I don't usually do boneless chicken because it's mostlyadditives, but these were real pieces of chicken. Each time I come to this Applebee's I get excellent service and food. My waitresses and waiters when here are always bubbly,... social and seem to truly enjoy their job. Very clean and has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Read more
My family and I went for lunch here to celebrate my birthday. Food was good but service was not great. Waited too long for them... to bring us our food and told them it was my birthday, they said we are going to bring you a dessert and sing to you, but nevershowed up. Read more

My wife and I are there last night. I ordered the bourbon street chicken with a side of garlic beans and broccoli. Also... ordered it with extra shrimp. Dish arrived with no broccoli and no extra shrimp. I sent it back. Came back with twoadditional shrimp and a plate with cold overcooked broccoli. Chicken was an overcooked hockey puck. Server knew I was nothappy but never made any attempt to fix the problems. Never going back. Read more
