Not worth the $32.08 for 2 combo meals for 2 people. First red flag was the cashier gave me less change but I ignored it since... he was young and it wasn't much. Second issue was the BBQ sandwich was asked to be on a bun instead of waffle and they justslapped a waffle on it. Both sandwiches are minimal and subpar at best and they charge a lot just because KFC in Redding hasbeen down hill in the last several months and are always out of chicken so this place just gets away with this kind of pricegouging for low level food. Should've walked out as soon as I came in since it was 100 degrees in there at night with fliesbuzzing around your head. Probably why there's outdoor seating. Read more
I normally like chicken shack, but this is the third time I've got old overcooked food. Some of the chicken tenders on jerky. ... The carrots and celery appeared to have been setting out from the night before; the celery was wilted and I could bend thenearly dried carrots in a circle. What's upsetting is this is obvious and never should have been served. I hope the good folksat chicken shack use this as a bit of a wake up call and return to their previous standard of quality. This place is awesome. Very comfy establishment, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Large portions of food for a good price.... Sharable. Highly recommend to people with late night munchies. Imagine fries topped with chicken and some bacon and cheese witha choice of gravy. Yum! Read more
Some of the best chicken in town but BEWARE if you order online. We've done so I would say about 8 times in about 40% of them... they forget something. A drink is forgivable. Half the order... not so much. High praise for the chicken. Redding food is sodismal that we were pleasantly surprised by this place. But just double check if you get it delivered, since unless you catch itright away you become flagged with x-Delivery service and won't be able to get money refunded after like the second try. The last 3x have been Very disappointing. Tonight my food has little chicken in it and HAIR, as I took a bite, it was wrapped In... my food!! My husband's box looked like blue cheese soup and fries. Usually I don't call or complain because I don't want to bea Karen but this is unacceptable and when I did call the guy wasn't helpful at all. We do not recommend nor will we be comingback! Read more
This was a great stop. My husband said they had the best chicken and waffles he?s ever had. I had some loaded fries that were... very tasty as well. They have unique sauces that are really good. Read more
The take out boxes are freely available, the tables are clean, the breading is thin and crisp on top of crispy chicken Clean... bathrooms. Chicken wings have no batter and taste baked. Photo shows fried chicken with a batter on it. The crispy Brussel sprouts were... soggy and had been sitting over time. Nothing about them were crispy. When I talked to the employee about the food not fittingthe description or photo he stated ?I hear that a lot? and did nothing about the poor quality of the food. Read more
