I have drove by this place and always see a bunch of people waiting for their food. So today I decided to try it!! I ordered the... chili verde nachos with beans.. and a drink. One word: Amazing!! Until today I was a loyal customer. I order the same breakfast burrito each time. The bacon and egg burrito with easy beans. I... had a bad experience one other time, but gave it a chance again. Ordering: You order at the window and take it to-go (there are no seats/tables). During the day, they have water mist spraying... at the front to cool you down. Timing: It took minutes to receive my food after I ordered. At the time, I was the only personin line (around 10:30 am). The Rancho Style Egg Burrito ($5.79) is vegetarian and has a slight spicy kick. Mine had a chunk ofjalapeño at the bottom that probably wasn?t supposed to be there and had me chugging water and sweating for a few minutes.Otherwise, it tasted great! I've been coming here for nearly 20 years. The food at Cuca's is consistently delicious. The guacamole tastes fresh and is... loaded with real avocado. The salsa tastes fresh and is fantastic, and they've always been happy to provide lots of salsa withmy orders. Their bean rice and cheese burrito is the best I've ever had. Their meat burritos are absolutely loaded with meat.The horchata tastes fresh, and I've never been able to find another Mexican restaurant with as good of a horchata asCuca's. Their service is consistently genuinely friendly and pleasant, even when they're at their busiest with long lines.Cucas is absolutely one of Redlands' treasures. Read more
