Went in on Father's Day/ My husband's birthday (wasn't crazy busy) was seated in the bar area.. no problem. Our waitress was... Coral. Got our drinks pretty quickly and then nothing. The girl who sat us noticed that we had been sitting there for awhile andwas nice enough to give us our bread. It took so long to place our order. We ordered an appetizer plus our food at the sametime... It took about 30 minutes to get our appetizer and then it took about another 40 minutes to get our actual dinner. By thetime we got our dinner we were only able to eat a little bit and had to get to go boxes, since it was getting late and had tohurry home and go to bed for work the next day. I used to really like Macaroni Grill. This particular location in Redlands just got their third strike visit. I would give... them zero stars if that was possible. Took forever to get get our food in an almost empty restaurant. There were four in ourparty. My food must have been sitting in the pass for a long time because it was completely cold. Had to beg for refills onwater or tea. I didn't dare send it back because took so long to get our food in the first place. This is the third time thishas happened at this location. The management is terrible and they really don't care. We had one experience where the ladynext to us slipped on the floor and hit her head. Instead of moving us they left the big puddle of blood on the floor next tous and then later came in and mopped it up with bleach. It wasn't the lady's fault at all but just an example of how lousy themanagement is at this location. I will drive a lot further than go to this location again. Was told it was a hour wait seen groups come after us was taken before us after we got called got told to wait while they set up... our table then more people came in so the host took down 3 more groups of names sat us down 10 mins later the food was prettygood the bread was salty the stuff mushrooms we normally get were not fully cooked we live 10 mins away from this location wedrive 40 mins to avoid this one to go to corona we know they have new management will be going back again to give it anothertry. So I had been bragging to my brother how awesome this place was and I was disappointed, no music no energy from server hostess... or even the chef’s as if they were all hung over. It wasn’t a pleasant experience and I come here all the time I was verydisappointed. The noodles were over cooked the shrimp wasn’t well done and the mushrooms were just way too much with the onlydish I order Shrimp Portofino since like 2003 just saying. Wife and I stopped by today, haven't been in a few years. What a disappointment. Our server, while polite, clearly didn't look... happy to be there, I suspect she normally wasn't waiting tables. I get it, no one wants to work today, so she was probablyfilling in for lack of staffing, I can get past that. The food, horrible. Ordered the pen rustica, few pieces of chicken wereso over cooked it was like jerky, the shrimp that was supposed to be in the dish? It was 1 shrimp cut into little pieces. $22for the worst pasta dish I recall ever having. My wife's dish wasn't much better. If this is what the macaroni grill has cometo, definitely will not ever be going back. Would not recommend anyone go here if this is the norm now. Read more
