The stuffed/ deep dish pizza is excellent. Really friendly staff. Kind of pricey and takes some time but that's alright. Gives a... local favorite vibe right off the bat. Technically two restaurants at this Redlands, California location: Italian fine-dining upstairs and the pizzeria and bar... downstairs. The former serves various Italian mainstays and specialties whereas the latter serves Pizza and similar fare. Forthick, deep-dish, Chicago-style pizzas prepare for extremely long preparation times (approximately an hour during busy times).In fact, ordering ahead or to-go here is Einstein or possibly even Newton -level thinking. The menu upstairs is different thandownstairs. For upstairs, Italian fine-dining at Romano's is next level. The compartmentalized dining rooms are very private yetspacious. I am vegan and STILL LOVE THIS cute little 2 story PLACE!! I started coming here prior to my vegan journey and absolutely adored... their appetizers and pastas, their Chicago pizza isn't bad either!! Ironically, their wings are super delicious! Theorganization I work for decided to have our holiday party here and it was phenomenal. The staff was pretty.gpod and the food waseven better. I really enjoyed the private room they out us in, it felt very family like, warm and cozy! I ordered the angel hairpomodor and was not disappointed. A very simple yet delicious meal (see photo). They also have a ice balcony area when it's niceout. The parking is very limited so becareful for that but they do have a small parking lot located in the rear of therestaurant and sometimes you can snag a spot up front on the main street!! Read more
Chicago style stuffed pizza is my favorite style of pizza!! Enjoyed an order of cheese fries, hot wings (not to spicy), and the... large pizza which feeds 4-6 people. To drink all I enjoyed was ice water. Right off of the Main Street orange in downtownRedlands right by the train tracks you can?t miss the restaurant. Staff was super friendly as well. I came in last week around 1:15 pm on Thursday with my friend, we were the only ones in that area of the restaurant so we... ordered our appetizers and waited. It had been 45 minutes and our simple (1) order of Hot wings wasn't ready, and the waitresshadn't checked up on us at all. When we DID get our food it was half hot and half cold but my friend and i just didn't care atthat point and wanted our 2 fettuccine Alfredos. We waited almost another hour and watched as all the other tables around us gottheir food before us. Me and my friend were the ONLY noticable people of color (literally everyone else was white) and we hadn'tbeen served our food that we ordered 2 hrs ago. We got the attention of a different waitress and asked her to check on our food,and within 2 minutes she was able to get our food from the back. Which meant that our food was already ready and the firstwaitress helping us didn't want to bring it out to us. As someone who actually works in customer service, she didn't deserve thetip, especially since the other waitress was doing her job for her. Read more
Ordered takeout. Chicken Parm was delicious. Portions of chicken and pasta were both huge. Sauce was great. No complaints!
