This place is great. The staff is very attentive and the food is seriously good. I got the rice cakes and black bean fish... fillet, my mom got the fish soup and my sister got the fried tofu. All of it was amazing. 100 percent recommend. Read more

In the 5yrs I've lived in Redlands, first time eating at Rui's..... BEST Xiao Long Bao EVER (sry forgot to actually take a pic... of it). The Shanghainese rice is really yummy too. Big variety menu. They do run out of certain dishes at certain times of theday. It is a pretty small restaurant to dine in but worth it. I'm only giving it a 4 star because I keep seeing the waitressgrabbing the utensils by the parts you eat from instead of the handle. Read more

Delicious food! We began with chicken wings. They arrived hot and crispy. They are served with a little bit of green onion and... hot peppers. We also ordered the dumplings. They were out of dumplings but then the chef offered his own serving of dumplingswhen we told him it was my birthday!! So very nice if him! We also ordered the hot and spicy soup and wor wonton. Both wereexcellent. The broth for the wor wonton was very flavorful and the wontons were excellent and generously stuffed. Our maindishes were chicken in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, Shanghai eggplant in brown sauce, and sweet and sour shrimp. All of thedishes were excellent. The shrimp were breaded and deep fried and very good! This is not a fancy restaurant and the tableservice was amateur but the food is so good it doesn't matter. Just go with an open mind and know you will be in for agastronomical delight!! Read more

We discovered this place while looking for another one, only to find out the place we were searching for was shut down due to... Covid. We decided to get out and try this place out, so so glad we did! It's a hidden gem and everything we ordered, wethoroughly enjoyed. My husband is hard to impress, but needless to say, this is now his favorite Chinese spot. We ordered theBeef lo mein, Spicy Basil Shrimp, BBQ short ribs, Pineapple shrimp and vegetable eggrolls as an appetizer. Keep in mind whenordering that the food is portioned out to share with the family. Totally worth the stop, try and get there a little early onthe weekends because it seems to be a popular stop among the locals. Definitely worth the try. Didn't get a picture of therest of our dishes, but the dishes are also served with a pot of steamed rice. Almost forgot, the tastiest thing we ordered wasdefinitely the Shanghai Rice, so definitely give that a try :) Read more

My partner and I were craving a home cooked meal and Rui's delivered this 110%! We were also very lucky to beat the rush as we... arrived before 5 pm. The dining area is fairly small so be sure to arrive early to get one of the tables. Our two favoritedishes were the scallion beef and braised beef with egg. Read more

Seriously the best Chinese food I've had in many years. Flavors are fabulous and everything is cooked to order. They don't all... have the same sloppy sauces on every dish but instead very unique flavors. Can't wait to return again! Read more
