my husband and i live a couple blocks away from Prime and we’ve been here before but last night was incredible. they were out... of the fresh fish but was able to accommodate something after our server (Jay?) had requested it. The halibut was perfectlycooked and everything on my plate was absolutely amazing. my husband had the steak and he loved it as well. we had a couplestarter salads. i literally just have all good things to say. more importantly, our server Jay was very efficient, accommodatingand kind! so i wanted to just make sure i wrote a review because it was a great experience. it was also nice to sit outside on awarm summer night ?? This is a nice and rather traditional steakhouse and I would definitely recommend this place if you are craving for steak and... don’t want to travel too far from Redmond. There is onsite parking but you have to remember tell your hostess or waiter yourlicense plate number so they can validate it for you, otherwise I think the parking is $10/hour. The restaurant has atraditional steakhouse decor. The floor is a little slippery not sure if it was due to grease or what but I found myself takecare when walking to/from the restroom. The food is good, not great, hence the 3 star but definitely not bad in anyway. Mindyou that taste on food is very subjective so make your own decision. Food was good just high priced for the atmosphere. The filet was money though I'd have to admit. Service was OK only gripe I had... was waiting over an hour from the time we ordered entrees and recieved our appetizers. Other than that it was a good spot tograb dinner. Read more
Was craving some steak and this place did not disappoint! Prime is seated in a great location in downtown Redmond, and the food... was great. We made a quick same day reservation here. Our server listened to our questions and gave us great recommendations. Weordered the short ribs and the steak where it's cooked 3 ways (I forgot the name but pics included). The short ribs weremelt-in-your-mouth tender and super tasty, sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes and sauce. And the steak cooked 3 ways was so funto eat! I really enjoyed all the different flavors and each one was sooo juicy! To top it off, I think the steak here is veryreasonably priced too! 2 servings of New York gram steak and 1 serving of ribeye steak. This is a restaurant with warm and considerate service. The... steaks are thick and big pieces that melt in your mouth. Neat restaurant with high end meat and wine. Sat at the bartop. Service was excellent, but food took quite a long time to get.... Ordered the $64 Tomahawk Ribeye medium rare with a baked potato side. Meat was cooked perfectly and was topped with 2 smalldelicious onion rings. There were a few hard to cut areas on the meat. I don't know if that was due to not being trimmedcorrectly or the knife wasn't as sharp as it could have been. I just ate around it. I normally eat the fat on a Ribeye, akaflavor, but when it's too chewy to bute through, no thanks. The side baked Potato was also great! Read more
