Had Sunday brunch, food was great. Due to staffing shortage the food took a little longer than expected. Not the restaurant's... fault, pandemic overflow. The service was outstanding, food was delicious. Have been coming to Baleen for years, always apleasant experience. Read more
Kind of like a hidden gem, I know some of the locals know and out of town tourists stay at the hotel portofino. Great spot, air... conditioning is killer and if you stop outside you can see some of the tropical fish in the marina. Read more

Very nice restaurant across from Portofino hotel and Marina. The service here is really good. They make everyone special. The... restaurant is clean and neat. Their food are so good its worthwhile waiting. We have a big group and we don’t make reservationfor Saturday breakfast so next time reservation is a must to do on the list. The staff are very friendly and respectful of theircustomers. Will always come here in Baleen Kitchen across Portofino Hotel. Read more
I have Never Ever posted a negative review but I was appalled at the lack of service at Baleen kitchen. We went there for dinner... in the lounge. It was still light and overlooking the marina. Ordered drinks which were great! But, afterwards it went downhill.Our appetizers came an hour later and we were waiting almost 2 hours for our dinner which never came. Al the very least the“comped” our drinks and appetizers. Unimpressed, and dismayed. Portofino needs to step it up. Should have ordered roomservice. Read more
