Perhaps we came just after opening for dinner. We first had one waitress who seemed very friendly however soon after she... informed us she was going on a break and the next waitress may have been a new hire she tried but seemed to be overwhelmed doingwhat was needed or maybe had other customers to take care of in any event we ended up waiting a long time to get her attention!Plus we did mention to both of them that this was a birthday celebration and yet we had to wait for service! Great family atmosphere, plenty of great tasting food, great staff, you name it and this place has it. This particular location... has become our go-to eat out restaurant for family events. They have good portion meals at great prices so, whatever your budgetmight be, you are likely to find something on their menu to fit it and then some. Make sure to call ahead and make reservationsor arrive early to get seated if you're planning on making your way there on a weekend because this is a fairly popular placefor big groups and tends to get busy. I love this place and the service is great! I came here to celebrate birthday. I ordered the pizza con formaggio which is... basically a cheese pizza in a size small which was about 6-8 small slices. I also ordered a large chicken parmigiana which were5 pieces of chicken and a large fettuccine Alfredo which we split with 3 adults and we still had leftovers! Food was deliciousand even when I ate it for leftover the next day for lunch it was just as great. I wish I would of taken picture of the food butI was hungry. The dessert on the other hand I got was the colossal brownie sundae for a birthday reward, between 4 people we atehalf the ice cream and most of the brownie chunks. It's huge but really tasty!! I felt like I was back home. The environment was immaculate and irreplaceable. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The food... was in giant portions and tasted wonderful. Good place to try something different, we tried lasagna and it was real good ????. Portions are little larger than usual, with... one plate, two adults and two kids we were full. Locations is good and parking space available, no waiting time. The onlyrecommendation is to seat the customers in tables with enough spaces between them instead of all together. Before Covid, I used to always go to Buca. So last night for dinner was my first time going since Covid. Unfortunately, it... wasn't the same. Usually, there's a lot of people laughing, having a good time music playing, upbeat wait staff. But when I wentthere there was hardly anybody there the music wasn't playing ( until right before we left), the staff looked like they didn’twant to be there and it just was completely dead. Not all of this is the restaurants' fault, but it just shows us how Covid hasimpacted a lot of our fun and favorite restaurants. It was actually kind of sad. Anyways, the food was really good. I forgot howbig the portions were, so we went a little overboard, but it's all good because we took it home for leftovers. The onlydisappointment was the cannoli. The shell was tough. Dessert is life, and so I was bummed out about that. I still love all ofthe fun random decor they have throughout the restaurant. Your eyes are constantly moving about! It was my first time and I was excited to check it out! We had about a 45 min wait since we didn't have reservations for a... Friday night. But that wasn't so bad. Watching all the yummy food go by to other tables.... couldn't wait to order!!! We finallywere seated and started off with an order of mozzarella garlic bread. Oh my gosh....it was good. It had layered mozzarellacheese with pieces of garlic found throughout the bread. ???? I asked the waitress for a small side of their creamy pestosauce...I am a dipper. ???? Oh, I highly recommend getting that side of creamy pesto to dip your garlic bread in!! We thendecided on ordering the meat pizza they offer. ???? Oh, the spicy sausage was excellent. The pizza is paper thin and notgreasy. Our waitress was so polite and helpful on suggestions. When she came around to inquire if we wanted to orderdessert...Lord knows I did, but my tummy said it was perfectly full and not to push it! Definitely will be returning. I willnote that when you look at the menu, the prices seem high....but honestly watching the different dishes they brought out, youget A LOT of food.
