Authentic Cuban spot with on point mojitos. Came here on a Tuesday around 7:30pm and had no reservations but got seated... immediately. Indoor dining only (no outdoor spots available). There’s bar seating as well. Credit cards accepted. Ampleparking in the parking lot. They do have happy hour on the weekdays. The employees were all friendly and the food came outfairly quickly. The El Criollo is good for two people to split and does come with rice, plantains, and black beans. The meatscome separately on one platter. The overall environment is family-friendly and casual. A long overdue critique. Cons.... Let me know if you find one. The moment you walk in the door they make you feel at home. They... have bar seating, outdoor patio, booth and table seating as well. Great cuban food that we drove 20 miles away to enjoy when thecraving hits. Rum and coke, great, it's rum with a splash of coke (preferred drink). It tends to get busy but is worth the wait.If in the area be sure to stop by, never had cuban food, this is the spot for you. Read more

It was fine, not the best Cuban for I’ve had. I ordered their paella and was actually disappointed. There was no burst of... flavors, there were no sausages, it was just ok. My friend though her food was just ok too. Loved the staff though, veryfriendly and helpful Read more

Good Cuban sandwich. Marinated pork with ham and cheese and mustard in a toasted bun. Good flavor and good portion size. I also... opted for the ham and cheese croquettes, these were good and still crispy after delivery but not as packed with flavor as thesandwich. Food was delivered and still hot and crispy so a head nod to Uber eats for delivering quickly. Good food and a goodauthentic cuban sandwich. Read more

Absolutely wonderful! I am not a Cuban food connoisseur, but I know flavors, and my way around a restaurant, and Havana Maria... does things right. I started with a Hemingway Mojito, which was perfectly crafted and balanced. The Tostones were delightfullyflavorful. For the entree, I had the Rabo Encindido. The oxtail was delectable, perfectly sauced, and complemented with al dentebeans and rice. I wanted to find room for dessert, but the portions were plentiful and I was already full to the brim. The icingon the cake, was the service - prompt, friendly, helpful, and attentive! I will definitely be back on my next visit to LA. Read more

What a great place! I love the vibe here and the pictures of the malecón in Havana. It's definitely not the same Cuban food... you'd get in Miami, but it hits the spot if you're missing home. I'm new to California and moved here after living in Miami myentire life. There were some things that didn't quite feel like home (the rice wasn't sticky enough and the filete de pollo wassuper thin) but it was still very good! The black beans were phenomenal and the maduros we're slightly overcooked, but I lovethem that way. My Cuban partner likes them mushy. In short, if you love Cuban food, you'll enjoy this spot because they tryreally hard to capture the flavors. The onions on the filet de pollo were not picado like they usually are in Miami and it was alittle sweet, but I still ate it all. I took away a star because I've honestly never been to a Cuban restaurant that doesn'tgive you Cuban bread while you wait. I was craving Cuban bread and I was really disappointed to know that they didn't have any-I couldn't order a tostada :( Otherwise, everything else was great and I'll be back!!! Read more
