Excellent food truck offering freshly made plates with falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, salads and pita bread. Plenty of... vegetarian and vegan options. Had the veggie plate which is a generous portion of all of the above for $15. Read more

slightly disappointed since the reviews were so high. The rice was oily and the chicken lacked any char or depth of flavor.... Sauces were good and the falafels were super fresh! Read more

Amir has always been passionate about his food. This is our go to place for lunch. I would usually share this with a worker... because the portion are huge and so delicious. It is also our family’s favorite. Amir’s dishes will rival manyestablished restaurants around the area. Try it and you won’t regret it. Read more

I came here after seeing the very high reviews, and drove right by it since I didn’t realize it was a food truck. Parking on a... Wednesday night along the street was pretty tough but found a spot around the corner down the street (seems like there was achurch service starting) I ordered ahead online and my food was ready when I arrived. Ordered the vegetarian plate, chicken andsteak plate, and a hibiscus tea. Veggie plate came with three large falafels (crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside)three dolmas (fresh and tangy) babaghanoush (my favorite, smoky and creamy) hummus with some sort of creamy sauce on it (I’mnever impressed with hummus so it was standard), a couple of pickles (too salty for my taste but my bf liked them) and shreddedlettuce and cabbage/raw onion mix. For the chicken/beef plate I asked for extra hot sauce on the side but it came on top of themeat so it was too spicy for me to enjoy. The rice had good flavor and the pita was warm and soft but I couldn’t eat much ofit. Also came with lettuce/cabbage/onions. Hibiscus tea was very refreshing, I added club soda to it since I don’t likedrinks too sweet and it was perfect. There were a few gritty bits that took me by surprise that I think might have been from thesugar? But it was delicious. Overall, good value with the amount of food for slightly lower than usual Bay Area prices. I livein the city so would probably go back and try something else if I was in the area. Read more

I've been coming to Falafel and Things food truck for over a year and it never disappoints. The owner/chef Amir is world class... and an even better person. The best Mediterranean/New York eats in the Bay Area. Ingredients are always fresh and all meals aremade with love. I usually order the chicken and/or beef over rice which comes with vegetables and a naan type of bread on theside. There's a white and red sauce drizzled over the meat and rice which combines to an awesome blend of spice, texture, andtaste. Meat is tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Vegetables on the side are fresh and delicious. I usually order the LemonHibiscus Tea (Not Pictured) to wash it all down. I've tried the baklava and it was also very good. If you live in the Bay Areaor visit the area, highly recommend eating at Falafel and Things. Call ahead orders are usually best since Amir can get quitebusy during the day. Hours are very convenient and open 6 days a week. I will forever be a faithful Falafel and Things customer.Thank you for blessing the world with your art I look forward to the next time I eat here!
