This Mexican restaurant is a hidden gem. My wife and I truly enjoy coming to this place every time we are in Redwood City.... It’s hard to pick from any of the appetizers because they are all amazing. The ceviche is always fresh and has well-balancedtaste. This time around I went for camarones a la diabla they had the perfect amount of spice, and it was well balanced with therice that day put under it. For dessert we had a delicious bread pudding that they call Capirotada it was delicious. I highlyrecommend you make reservations ahead of time because this place tends to fill up fast. They have a full bar as well. Read more

Came here on Saturday night. Made a last minute reservation at 7pm, but it didn't show up in the restaurant 's system.... Thankfully, I had my email confirmation to show, and got an outdoor reserved table. The restaurant was busy. Service was good. Iordered the Las Coloradas, non-alcoholic -- passión fruit, grapefruit, mango, lemon, and ginger beer -- which was good. TheCeviche De Camaron was a great way to start the meal. The oysters were clean, and the Sopecitos De Pollo was meaty. The Ensaladade Sandia was delicious. I really like the watermelon and the croutons. We ended the meal with Churros. Read more

This was an amazing place. The service was the right mix of serious-professional and casual chef-out-of-the-kitchen. The... drinks were great and the main dishes had plenty of natural flavor. I honestly don't think I've had food quite like this beforeand it was delicious..... I didn't even know there was such a thing as "Plantain Rice".... But it was delicious! I had a greattime here and am happy it's accessible from the CalTrain. Go here, the place is great! Read more

Overall a decent place. We celebrated a friend’s birthday here and food was okay. We ordered a few appetizers which were not... so great. Only ceviche was decent. Oysters did not have any flavoring and did not taste fresh. Calamari was also not great. For entrees among all of them only salmon and a pork dish were good. We loved the drinks though. Bartender made amazingdrinks.. e we would come back for drinks Read more

Vibrant sit down Mexican food with creative cocktails. Overall a good time with tasty food - not life changing delicious so... likely won’t be back. Guacamole: fresh with chunks of cheese which was tasty Cocktails: light and refreshing Tacos: shrimp, fish, pork, steak - tortillas were fresh but fell apart in our hands. Shrimp was my favorite. High end Mexican restaurant located in one of the best areas of California for quality Mexican food. Special marks for amazing... crafted cocktails and delicious food that has beautiful presentation and taste. The owner also manages two other great Mexicanfood restaurants in the Bay Area. They’re all great. The food can be a bit pricy but you’re paying for quality, presentation, and taste. They have an amazing selection of seafood as well as drinks and non seafood items. If you’re picky, they have standard tacos and other dishes. The restaurant is a little small but there’s plenty of outdoor seating too. Highlyrecommended if you enjoy good Mexican food, hand crafted drinks, and a good ambiance when eating! Read more
