Amazing time and delicious food! We arrived shortly after opening around 11:40 am on Saturday and were seated immediately. You... can reserve on OpenTable if preferred. We got the Son Tropical Cocktail and La Sandia mocktail. The server offered to make aspecial drink he's trying out with gin and gave us a complimentary taste. So fun and nice! The ceviche mixto was packed withseafood, dressed well and came with plenty of plantain chips to go with it. Best ceviche I've had so far! The pulpo y chorizotacos were delicious and I loved the homemade tortilla. The huevo ahogados was so yummy and unique with the potato cakes, crab,poached eggs and side salad. The quesadilla was different with stringy cheese that was a very light cheese flavor. It felt likea summer garden in the form of a quesadilla. Highly recommend!! Read more
We were promptly seated and served. Staff is friendly and attentive. I love this place for happy hour! Fun tapas and cocktails.... The Margaritas are good! The Arroz con Mariscos is so so delicious-hands down my favorite!!! Beautiful shrimps, savory scallop,white fish, cute little mushrooms and the risotto is delicious along with the sauce (gluten-free, not dairy free)! It’s a nice sports bar with great options for tapas! Located in Redwood City downtown, this area is vibrant. Plenty of street... parking is available. I forgot to click food’s picture on the table but I took away from leftover. Fish tacos are excellent. Iusually hate fish tacos as it’s difficult to get decent ones around. But they had put together a decent one with perfectlycooked fish. Great to pair up with drinks! Read more

Hugh quality tapas, drinks, and Mexican themed offerings located in beautiful downtown Redwood City. They offer plenty of... seafood, small plates, and the drinks are simply amazing. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at this establishment.We were especially impressed by the service. At night, this is one of the best places to party. We went in for a lunch date and at first, we were spooked by the emptiness. Perhaps it was a previous gem going in decline? The... current reviews were great but somehow it felt deserted. Of course, yes, there is the pandemic but still it's at the heart ofRedwood City. Be not afraid. The food was fabulous. The ceviche arrived first and it really burst into flavors. It fitperfectly with the plantain chips. The beef empanadas could've used a bit thinner dough but nevertheless flavorful. Lobsterbisque was done Mexican style which was a jazzy twist to a classic. And the papas with ham on top also surprised in aninteresting way. This tapas joint is bursting with flavor and character. This is not your typical fusion Mexican place. Thechef really is trying to make a unique statement unapologetically. He/she is putting it out there and is proud of it. Theatmosphere is colorful, just like its food. The stucco fisherman's village vibe with modern cocktail lounge somehow strikeschord. It was a great experience and we'll be returning shortly. Read more
Amazing Latin fusion food - both tasty, and beautifully presented! Nice outdoor dining area in the pedestrian zone in downtown... Redwood City, great for a sunny day. Indoor dining area is also nice, and usually has a game on a TV by the bar. Impressive andcreative cocktail menu. Great service. Fabulous place to eat, for lunch it’s a great location to eat outdoors. Lots of street parking nearby makes it very... convenient. The servers were very friendly and the food outstanding, had amazing guacamole ???? with smoked salmon and caviaradd on. Followed by Cuban torta. As lover of both Cuban sandwiches and tortas I was very pleased with their interpretation ofboth in one. Very creative they paid attention to the heritage of both culinary classics.
