No free water with meal. Seriously? For $18-19 a plate and I have to pay for bottled water? Pathetic. I bought green tea, and... yet had to fill up a water bottle in the bathroom. If I wasn't so tired I would've left. And only options for tipping 18% andup. Not from area. Looked like it was mostly a takeout operation Read more

Visited over the weekend and was petty disappointed. Since I was last there it appears they have transitioned to primarily a... take out restaurant. So much so that the service for dining-in suffered greatly. Two of our order items were completely missedand the server was mostly busy with handling of all the many take out orders. A third item came very late. If you have anothersushi place you like, I'd remove this restaurant from your rotation. Read more

We used to love coming here before the pandemic. Friendly staff, a local neighborhood sushi place that was packed all the time.... And we ordered takeout during the pandemic as well to support them. Food has always been good. So we finally decided to eat hereindoors since its been over two years. We were disappointed, food is still great, but their focus is mostly on takeout now, soit took a while to get our order. They only give you bottled water, which is not environmentally friendly. The ginger and wasabiare also served in a plastic container. We hope things will return to the way it was pre-pandemic...for now, they made theplace feel like an expensive fast food place. Read more

Came for take out. They hid a 3.5% "operational surcharge" which feels super deceptive. We only realized after looking at the... receipt and then searching for the tiny footnote on the menu after we got home. Borderline fraud. Just raise your prices. Wetipped 18% on take out too. Smh Other than that, food is mid and service is slow Read more

The Food Sushi Plus is one of my go-to sushi restaurant in the NorCal Bay Area. I've been there quite a few times, and tried... many different selections from the menu. The order this time around is... - Jina Roll (Rice Free Roll) - Sake Sashimi (Salmon) -Combination Sushi & Sashimi (Chef's Choice) But some of the others I've tried that I recommend are... - Crazy Taco - CrazyRoll - Super Duper Roll Their main focus are sushi, so all their nigiri, sashimi, and rolls are very good. They do not skim onthe ingredients. Unlike other places that focus on rice for their sushi, this place has a good rice to fish ratio. They haveother Japanese dishes also, but sushi is the recommendation. The Miscellaneous Sushi Plus is within a plaza, so there areplenty of parking. The restaurant itself is not super big, but there are a decent amount of seating. Though during peak hours itcan get pretty packed and long wait time. Their services has always been good, and staffs are sincere every time I went. Themenu can get a bit overwhelming because their have a lot of choices and categories to choose from. But most of their selectionsare good, and there's nothing wrong with getting the usual. The prices are quite reasonable with the quantity and quality theyprovide when compared to other restaurants. Definitely recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet. Read more

Dropped in for a quick bite and immediately felt a warm welcome. Sushi Plus has a friendly and attentive staff, happy customers... and above average portions of delicious Japanese cuisine. We ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box with Fresh Tuna Sashimi, steamed rice, Miso soup, salad and an incredibly crispy shrimp and veggie Tempura. Accompanied by a large bowl of tasty andperfectly seasoned Chicken Nabeyaki Udon soup. Highly recommended! I was a little bummed out that they don't have wifi, but ohwell.. Read more

Busy place, huge menu. Fresh sushi, big pieces. Staff is nice and helpful. Even when they are extremely busy the servers are... attentive to your needs. In a strip mall, isn't easily seen from the street. Plenty of parking. If you go at dinner time, beprepared to wait. I went early, around 5, 5.15 and got a seat right away. My boyfriend loved the Woodside Roll, I preferred theVolcano Roll. If you want to stick with Nigri or sashimi, you won't be disappointed. Read more
