Loaded baked potato (beef bbq). Good bbq flavor! Better than expected. Toppings were plentiful, though I wish the potato was... smashed a little more (or split in the middle deeper) so there wasnt a large iceburg of potato beneath the toppongs piled ontop of a potato. I wonder if I should've / could've askes for some whipped butter the lower third of the potato, to add somepizzaz since the party was gone after eating the top 2/3. By the way, THIS is the way to do beef bbq - red sauce, not topeppery, not too sweet. The beef had large (but) bite-size chunks, I didnt encounter and gristle or fatty chunks (thank you!). Really good barbecue. The portions are great. Been here about 3 times now. They have rebuilt the building and it is much nicer... and more room. I love barbecue, my only suggestion is to add a sweet barbecue to the available choices. The fries are amazingand we?re hot out of the grease. Over all I give it a 5 star. I?ll be back! Read more
Just to start I am from Texas so my opinion on BBQ is of the highest regard and most accurate when it comes to the ins & outs of... the food. I am always firm on, I do NOT eat Mexican/BBQ outside of Texas but I was outnumbered here and had to give it a try. Pleased to find out I was actually wrong for once???? Place was super clean and a really neat little eatery. The food was goodas well. The Baked potato was really good and the BBQ Nachos were definitely enough for two to share. The guys each had a burger and said they were excellent! Onion rings were done excellent and my hubby can be tough to please on... his onion rings lol. Fries were crispy and delicious. I had the pulled pork. I actually took half the meat off, still had a bigenough sandwich and took the remainder home and had lunch the next day, so servings are generous. Excellent flavor.
