Went to the Vault to visit some friends that were there and I was so impressed!!! The vibe was fantastic. Very chill and... relaxing. The place was decorated so thoughtfully too! The VIP area inside an actual old vault was just the coolest!! I orderedtwo cocktails off the menu, the Fill Collins and the Rhythm & Blues. Both were excellent and it was so fun to watch thebartender work his magic. I was having trouble choosing between two other cocktails for my third and he asked if I'd like to trysomething different. He made the most refreshing, yummy drink! I loved it!! (Ask for Candice's Cucumber ????????????) There wasgood music, good pizza and great company. Ill definitely be back. Attended a private event here recently (birthday party), was my first time here. Pleasantly surprised to say the least. There... were MANY soft couches and chairs in several locations around the bar, each with their own flat screen tv. The bar was veryclean, the staff circulated around many times while I was there, making sure the tables were clean, as well as keeping thechairs straight. Quite honestly felt more like a "basement man cave" than a downtown bar, meaning, it felt very homey. And Isay that in a very good way! Kudos to the owners of this place! Read more
A big step forward for Reedsburg. A touch of class for the city. Very cute spot. Good decor. Good beer selection. Varied wine... options from many countries and vineyards ? though the red could be slightly colder; ?room temp? sort of flies out the windowwhen you?re heating the building. I went around 6pm timeframe. There were a small group of folks just leaving and one still at the bar. I ordered a flight to pair... with some local chocolates (that I had brought) for fun. The Young lady behind the bar was nice and gave me my flight, butreally made no conversation to keep me interested in sticking around to order anything else. She was too busy on her phone. Iworked a wine bar for three years. It helps when you show some interest in the customers. A little conversation goes a long way,especially when a non-local stops by. I miss the Blue Heron (former occupant), but the owners have done a nice job setting up acomfortable venue for wine. They have cheese and oils but I didn't see any thing indicating so.
