Incredible! Coffee, treats, and kitties. What more could you want? I also love that they put the cats first and have policies in... place to ensure their safety and wellbeing. For example, their rules around how old a child should be to enter the cat room, andthat they have a caregiver with them. It doesn't take much to spook a cat or traumatize them forever, I'm thankful they takethis very seriously. Read more
The atmosphere at the cafe is awesome! Super cozy and welcoming. I love that they have rules for the cats well being. Potential... adopters can't see the kitty's true personality if it's agitated, scared or annoyed. It's a great place to interact with cats ifyou're looking to adopt or if you're just wanting a coffee and some kitty company. Chelsey and her staff are so friendly and doan incredible job. The baking and drinks were wonderful and I appreciate that they have juice boxes for the littles. The cat room itself is very... bright and fun. The power went out during our visit and we didn't even notice. Lots for the cats to do, room for them to hidefrom people who don't understand cats, lot of places for them to sleep/rest. I particularly enjoyed the castle, a nice nod tothe old story. My only negative was it would have been nice to have a bench or chair to sit on to remove my shoes. I was verypregnant when visiting and this was difficult. That being said, I'm sure they would have brought me one had I asked. Read more
2nd time we have ordered a custom birthday cake and cupcakes from the cozy kitten bakery (Excalipurr)! Honestly speaking, on... both occasions we were blown away. If you're seeking out delicious and specifically vegan baking options, this is where you needto go. The cake & cupcakes were so beautifully detailed and decorated. Definitely statement pieces for our themed party. Thecake texture was moist and the icing was so yummy, but not too sweet. Absolutely perfect and enjoyed by everyone inattendance! UPDATE - reply to owner?s comment: Thanks for your quick reply and all these details. FYI, after around 15min my wife and I... couldn?t stay inside longer due the smell, kept kids continue enjoy their time with lovely cats, and my wife informed the frontdesk lady that smell was so strong but she confirmed with no action. We didn?t know the source of the smell, as litter box orelse, but you can immediately recognize it at the first step in to the room. If we knew it litter box we would ask the lady.Anyway we reported it to her but she said ya and nothing more. Sorry if my review upset you, you seemed, but I hoped you take itpositively as feedback rather than a negative comment, which I didn?t mean. We liked the visit and we will surely come again.Thanks. Really nice coffee shop! There?s a back room where you can play with the cats, it?s very clean and the cats are friendly. Make... sure to check online for the opening hours and to book time to play with the cat. It?s $5 per person per hour (and if you cameafter a round time you will still pay $5 for less time- for example: we can at 12:30 pm pay the same amount and had to leave at1:00 pm). This review is in regards to Excalipurr's cat cakes. The ordering process was easy, they helped me determine the right size,... everything was ready on time and the cake was affordable. It was also delicious! We couldn't eat it for multiple days afterpurchase due to illness. By the time we had my mother in law's celebration I was worried, but it stayed fresh in the fridge andtasted really good!! A seriously goofy, icing loaded cake that is absolutely purrfect. Everyone loved it. I'd be really excitedto check out other styles if they have them or create some kind of menu for these special orders. My only suggestion is that Iwish the flavour options including for filling were listed online. This way I could have done more consideration in advance andfelt more prepared for the call. It all worked out though and was a positive experience -- thank you very much. Recommended! Read more
