Incredibly disappointed long term customer. We have been going to I Like sushi since they first opened and the quality has... slowly been decreasing but we continued to be loyal because we have continued to have good experiences. After tonight, we aredone with the location. It was our son's 2nd birthday and service was horrible. We brought our parents for a first timeexperience and we received items untimely, didn't get items and had to constantly follow up with staff for basics (refills,cutlery, plates). One of our parents accidentally ordered 2 plates extra of mixed vegetables, we quickly told staff to cancelthe remaining dishes to which we heard the cooks loudly, and unprofessionally yelling and pointing at our table. After this wereceived no service despite still waiting on our orders. It was clear the cooks were mad at us after the vegetable incident. Weasked staff and heard them the cooks angrily say we got all of our order (we did not receive our teriyakisteak/chicken). Honestly, it was a crapshow and ruined my son's 2nd birthday and an experience to introduce my parents to sushiand a restaurant we long loved. To the owner: I'm sorry but after tonight me and my wife will no longer be coming for our sushifix here. Read more
A bit worried about this place for a few reasons: 1) they don't explain how to order properly so that you don't get a ton of... extra food. 2) the bathrooms are questionable due to the bathroom stall walls needing a real good washing. This makes me worriedabout the cleanliness of the kitchen. Read more
I had amazing time at “I LIKE SUSHI “ , we went for buffet and the food was amazing specially better than last time I went... there . It’s very quiet place which is awesome for dining and the employees are also friendly, I went on weekends and theywere closing early than their regular time which was bit of odd , overall one of the best sushi place in regina for sure .Surprisingly their Special Steak ???? was amazing like tender and juicy and we loved it. Used to be a good place but now it is completely horrible. The buffet took almost two hours to receive and we didn't even get... all we ordered. All the items were over cooked and/or cold. The size of the crab it looked like it should have been thrownback into the ocean. Then the sushi was bland and the wasabi had little to no taste. Not worth the 72.00 we spent for dinnerfor two. Food quality has been consistently good However, we were seating by the back wall, which happens to have the washroom on the... other side. Therefore, there is a stinky odor by this area, like wet socks. The interior also needs major upgrades. Other thanthat, the food and sushi quality are incredibly delicious. Read more
As a newcomer to sushi, I was pleasantly surprised when I went to I Like Sushi. The sushi itself was good (speaking as someone... unaccustomed to sushi aside from the occasional California roll) and I tried nearly one of every kind of sushi on the menu. Youorder from a tablet given to you at the table, something I greatly appreciated because you didn't need to wait for anyone andgot to see clear pictures of what you were ordering in advance. Each order can also be customized further to ensure thatallergies or taste preferences can be accommodated for. The buffet also has a wide selection of foods and deserts. Read more
Went on a Thursday evening at 6pm, not overly busy. Got seated quickly but drinks were very slow to come, only water, wasn't... asked for anything else. The sushi was good, buffet was hit and miss. Rice and noodles were good, the chicken balls were coldand mostly batter. Attention from staff was lacking but there, water was refilled after 45 minutes in empty. Not quite sure ifit's worth the money but for anybody starving and wanting to try lots of sushi, a decent spot. Read more
