Food was good, we went for lunch buffet today. Lady on cash counter with spectacle was very strange. She made as to feel... awkward. When I enter in restaurant, I asked her where to seat and her reply was like she was not interested. She was makingface like we are there for meal without money...she poke us 3 times In last at payment time she was like, " everything ok?" Whydid she ask? Why this restaurant didn't train her... One of the best North Indian food I tried in Regina. Ordered food through doordash, the food was extremely hot when it... arrived. Paneer tikka masala (5/5): The gravy was as perfect as any good Indian restaurant in India. Manchurian Gravy(4.5/5):Gravy was awesome. Manchurian could have been bigger and softer. I've ordered skip from this place couple of times and food was decent, so decided to try their buffet. Went for lunch and the... food was decent. They serve naan and tandoori chicken at the table which is great coz it's meant to be eaten hot and fresh. Naanwas really good but tandoori chicken lagged flavor. Other buffet items were decent. I was disappointed by the dessert sectionthough. There were 3 options Gajar halwa, suji halwa and rice kheer. All were less than average. And Indian buffet without atleast one proper Indian dessert ( Gulab Jamuna, jalebi, rasagulla, any type of mithai) is unheard of. The price was pretty lowand that could be a reason. Saskatchewan folks you are in for a treat! If I had a reason to move to Regina, this food would be on the top of my list! I... stepped in with zero expectations! We were crossing Regina and were hungry and picked the closest restaurant in our route andthat’s one decision we would never regret! The buffet has wide range of Indian food and taste authentically Indian! The foodis delicious and since it’s a buffet the portions are huge ofc! I stopped for a lunch buffet. Being a vegetarian most of thetimes there are limited options for me, luckily that was not the case here! They had a wide variety of vegetarian foods and theyhad my favourite pakora and pakora tadka in their menu! The rice pudding was perfectly prepared, not too sweet! All the dessertswere mouthwatering! Excellent food. I can confirm the buffet is open at lunch hour at the South Albert location. Provincial health regulations are... being followed (masks while moving around, proof of vaccination/recent negative test, etc). They had a lot of delicious andclassic Indian cuisine (vegetarian and meat dishes) including the ever popular butter chicken, fresh veggies/salad, as well as afew dessert items. They came by the table several times with naan bread and tandoori chicken, and my water was kept topped up.Everything was really tasty and fresh when we got there around 11:45AM. The only thing I was disappointed about was that Ididn't have a hollow leg so I could keep eating! I'll definitely be coming back. Read more
One of the best restaurants for food, hospitality ambiance and price. Friendly staff, lots and of space and lots of choices in... food. We kept a birthday party with 50 people. Everyone enjoyed. We definitely recommend this restaurant. Read more
