The shrimp and pork fresh rolls are so deadly. Nice and big and very fresh, and the peanut sauce is delicious!! The sweet and... sour boneless pork is really tasty and, unlike many places where the "pork" is mostly just fried batter, they use nice bigchunks of meat!! You get a nice big portion and it is even more tasty the next day, when the sauce has had more time to soakinto the meat! The sweet and sour chicken balls are very tasty too! You get a nice big side of sweet and sour sauce to dip themin (instead of putting the sauce on them and having them be soggy). There is a really good ratio of meat to coating; nice bigpieces of meat inside each one! The rice vermicelli with spring rolls and pork on skewer is SO good! The pork on skewer is sorich and flavourful, and super tender!! Tried the Shanghai noodles and wow were they good! Nice big juicy shrimp and bbq porkslices throughout. Noodles were cooked just right. As usual, the portion size did not disappoint and I had enough left for lunchthe next day, where similar to the sweet and sour boneless pork, the flavour was even better! The chicken pad thai was yetanother hit. Not too spicy...personal preference, obviously...but still had some kick. Plenty of egg and chicken in it, and somenice chunks of broccoli. Topped with a good amount of peanuts; whole and chopped. Also came with a lemon slice, which wassomething new to me (I've only had pad thai a handful of times at a couple places and it never came with lemon before). Triedsome with and some without the lemon and both were delicious. Same as the other entrees, there's plenty of food to spare andenjoyed it the next day as leftovers! Most recent treat here was a bubble tea! Definitely one of the best I've had. Made withactual tea and milk...not just sugary super sweet powder stuff, like so many other places make it! Only fried rice was good but rest of the food not Fresh !
I ordered a “b” and “c” individual dinner. Both were horrible. The chicken balls were tough, the shrimp was hard -... tasted like yesterdays. My husband’s dry ribs were over fried hard clumps - not edible. The egg rolls were soggy. The ricewas ok and one positive the sweet and sour pork was good. I phoned to share our experience. Portion size is a little small for the price but the honey bbq pork had a good flavour and texture tasting fresh. Not the... wildest flavour it could have been as the honey sauce didn't provide much outside of moisture though. Definitely a place to tryand a large side of rice is a cheap and good combination with it but I wouldn't recommend just ordering a main dish as I did asthe amount of protein isn't great. However when put in a tortilla with lettuce it was a very good last minute save. Hot freshfood that didn't take too long, if you like vietnamese or chinese food it's certainly a place to give a try! Ordered the lemongrass chicken with spring rolls on vermicelli. Chicken didn’t taste at all like lemongrass or grilled. Really... not very tasty. Spring rolls weren’t great either. Way too much fried wrapper. And not flaky but all bubbly. Didn’t seemlike authentic spring rolls. Hardly any vegetables and no cucumber at all. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing, never failing to impress me every single time. I absolutely love the fresh... rolls—they are to DIE for! Plus, the peanut sauce doesn’t taste like peanut butter unlike other restaurants—a nice,savoury burst to the dish and I can’t get enough of it. Their curry and pho is also delectable too! Absolutely love this busy take out restaurant featuring many items including delicious Vietnamese combos with photos taken this... week as I ate there practically everyday. Very limited seating as it's more of a takeout desk and although she may sound a bitsomber when taking your phone take out delivery order, she is the most friendly in person and super busy. Thai spring rolls was super great! Had high hopes for my pork fried rice and honey garlic bbq pork meal I ordered…... Unfortunately not at all what I expected. Food was dry and mostly without flavour. For some reason some of the rice was quitehard and chewy (probably stale). Read more
